Took my Mazda CX9 into service due to a problem with the Auto Start App. Not only did they fix the problem at no cost, but provided a free wash and maintenance inspection. The mechanic shot a video of his inspection for us to view. Steve the Service associate/manager was very professional and courteous.

I purchased my 2nd car from this dealer and up to that point I had no complaints. However, after purchasing the 2nd car for $40k, I learned they don't include the SDNav card. So I purchased an after market bcuz of the stupid amount Mazda charges for theirs. I needed to update the Nav card but was unable to do so myself. I called Mazda and they said sure they can do it, just bring it in. I took it in, and they told me no, we can't update it, but you can buy a new Mazda one. This will be the last Mazda we purchase from Bob Penkhus.

His transparency and honesty instilled a high level of trust, which is often rare in the car-buying world. Overall, my experience with Groove Mazda in Denver, CO exceeded my expectations. Buying a car is almost always a stressful event. For most of us, it's our second largest purchase after our homes. That said, I can't overstate how stress-free and pleasurable it was to work with McDonald Mazda West for the purchase of our new Mazda. This especially goes for our salesman Santiago B. We started the transaction as strangers and I dare say we ended it as friends. He was patient and informative with no pressure. His boss Joe M. was also a pleasure to work with on the purchase. McDonald is not a "no-negotiation" dealership. That said, the negotiations were easy. Recognizing they're a business that deserves a profit, we set forth several reasonable negotiation points and all were accepted. I believe we got a better price that what we would have paid at a fixed price dealership. They even threw in a couple of "above and beyond" gestures. We couldn't be more pleased and look forward to servicing our new Mazda with them. The dealership is bright, white, clean with a nice waiting area and some pretty good snacks!
