Not recommended. I was looking to purchase a used car. I was curious about trade in values so I completed form online prior to my visit. An offer was generated based on VIN, mileage, and current condition of vehicle. We have done this before on other cars, and after dealer inspection, the offer has always been within a couple hundred dollars. Test drove car the used vehicle and was ready to have paperwork processed. Eric, the salesperson, does the typical I have to talk to my manager and comes back with a trade in offer that was almost half of what the email offer was. This was not acceptable to me and I felt like I had been lured in by their original email offer. Eric then goes back, talked to his manager again and tells me
the car I was trading in doesn't even sell for ten thousand dollars. This is absolutely false as I found multiple online that were selling for 2x more than their low trade in offer, and even several thousand more than the originalemail trade in offer. Anyways, I'm not gonna sit there and play back-and-forth with a dealership this dishonest so I left. This this should have been a simple, straight, clean transaction. These guys are slimy, and were a big waste of my time. I would not waste my time unless you want to be taken advantage of and lied to. There are way too many other Toyota dealerships in the area to spend money at.
