Took my car in for its regular maintenance and was in and out in under an hour. The staff at the dealership is top-notch. When I brought my Subaru here it was the only dealership that treated me like a person instead of a sale. This is the best dealership I've dealt with in the antelope valley.

My Outback became inoperable due to a faulty thermal - gsull1833

My Outback became inoperable due to a faulty thermal sensor & I had to get it towed to the Summet Subaru in El Cajon. The repair was under warranty & there was no charge to me for the repair. The only cost to me was for the tow charge & thanks to the staff at Summit contacting Subaru of America, Subaru agreed to help absorb some of the towing cost due to the unusual circumstance of the distance involved. The vehicle was repaired within a day & Sam kept me informed of the progress from beginning to end. Madison kept me informed of her initial communications with Subaru of America which I feel was instrumental in Subaru offering in assist me. I have nothing but gratitude & praise for Summit & Subaru. The service could not have been any better.

My car been taken care by gentleman called able give me a quick information about my car the problem and the one that they fixed the car was on recall it takes a little bit more than I guess should be finished reading from 8 o’clock to 1 o’clock the car will be done Otherwise everything is wonderful.

My 2019 Crosstrek was leaking oil from one of the cam - nebulon

My 2019 Crosstrek was leaking oil from one of the cam follower seals and had an issue with the driver's side window control. I was told by an independent repair shop that the cost to fix the leak would be around $5000 as the engine would need to be removed and replaced. Coincidentaly, I was contacted by Hansel about buying a new Crosstrek. I said I would not be interested as my Crosstrek was showing major issues at 75,000 miles. After checking my warranty information, I was told that my repair was covered under the 'gold warranty' I purchased at the time of sale. I was told that the repair would be done free of charge along with the window control and some front bushings that needed to be replaced. I also had the front brakes replaced as they were due. All in all I had a very positive experience dealing with the service department at Hansel Subaru. I would encourage any prospective new car buyers to go for the gold warranty coverage as it saved me from having to pay $5000+ out of pocket.

Although Putnam has done a good or great job for me over several years, I am discontinuing my relationship with them immediately. They have introduced that customer must pay the fee associated with using a credit card for purchase. Sorry, but that is a cost of doing business for the vendor, not the customer. I already pay significantly more to service my car at the dealership when I know full well that excellent service can be provided by independent service shops.

Didn’t fix my problem. Car is still hesitating and nearly stalling at times.i was told it was related to a loose battery cable. A waste of $230. I will not go back.

I recently had the worst experience with the Service Department due to the incompetence of the technicians. I am sure that the usual response will be “we’re sorry for your bad experience,” but this isn’t about apologies—it’s about doing things right. I feel compelled to recommend the Sales Department instead, as they know how to do their job properly.

Brought my car in to replace the a/c and Daniel Amaya double checked it to make sure replacing the entire unit was necessary. They pointed out that it was almost time to replace the brakes, which I was already aware of, so I had that done as well since the quote was reasonable priced. He also noticed oil pooling on the top of my engine and began inspecting for a leak however the previous Subaru dealership did a sloppy job and that’s why I decided to go to Subaru Orange Coast this time. Daniel gave great service so I’ll be back!
