I've been a loyal customer of Genesis of Corona for over 3 years, but my recent experience with their service department has left me extremely frustrated and disappointed. I brought in my GV80 for what should have been a warranty replacement after the plastic lining of the wheel well fell on its own, got caught in the disc brake, and nearly caused an accident. Despite this being a clear case of part failure (something that happened two years ago and was replaced without issue), they refused to submit the claim, instead suggesting the damage was caused by something else.
Oscar, the service advisor, kept changing his story and was inconsistent about whether or not this issue would be covered under warranty. The service manager, Mayra, was unhelpful and dismissive—she simply told me to call the corporate office and then hung up. No alternatives, no solutions.
The customer service at this dealership has significantly deteriorated since I purchased my vehicle here, and this incident has cemented my decision to take my business elsewhere. I will not be returning to Genesis of Corona and will be going to a different dealership moving forward.
I highly advise others to reconsider before doing business here, especially if you value honesty, accountability, and proper customer service.
