The worst follow up ever - Chopstyx613
I bought my Audi A4 hear and my relationship started out very rocky and the used car sales manager agreed to a deal, shook my hand and then as it was being written up changed the deal on me. I should have know at that time it was going to be bad. But the Sales Manger gave me a good deal on a different car and they won me back. Not fast forward to the service department the last 4 times I brought my car in for service, it was not ready by the end of the day and if I did not call for and update, I never heard from them. I spoke to Tim, the Service Manager and he asked for one more chance and he would detail my car the next time. I gave in (bad idea) and said OK, they are 3 miles from my office.The car was dropped off at 9:15am on Friday and when I called at 4pm, was the first time I heard from them and my car was not going to be ready, but would be ready at 10:30 Saturday. I show up around 11am on Saturday and there is no one in the Service Department, the one service advisor left to run an errand and no one could even find my car. Finally he came back and my car was not going to be ready that day. I was leaving town, they gave me a new Q5 to take on my trip and that was nice. Sunday they were closed, Monday was a holiday and Tuesday came and no call, I called at 10:30 to find out my car would be ready at 12. I picked it up and left a message for Tim to talk about the service, along with the General Manager( still have not heard back from him). Tim called back and was full of excuses, employees not showing up because of the holiday, issues with the internet, etc. By the way, my car was not detailed, because my service advisor decided not to do what his boss said. While Tim offered to still detail my car, I have no plans to ever go back to this dealership and will drive my car further to get serviced, while it is still under warranty. All I would have wanted is simple communication from my advisor to let me know things were not ready, not me having to call them for information. I expect more from Audi and have been very disappointed in the service I have received.
