They had a Rav4 advertised for $13,995 on four major websites (Cars.com, Cargurus.com, Truecars.com, and eBay). I called to confirm availability and drove an hour to get there. After test driving the car, I started to negotiate price, and then Alan at ZoomAuto told me that the $13995 figure was the "wholesale" price for dealers, and that the actual "retail" price was $14887 - $892 higher! I pointed out that none of the four websites showed any price other than $13,995, and none made mention of any possible wholesale vs. retail pricing in each page's "fine print" (I read such things very thoroughly before even looking at a car). The ONLY place where any other price was mentioned was ZoomAuto's own site (zoomautousa.com), and even there it listed it as: Wholesale Price $13,995 Retail Price $14,887 My Savings $892 I would say that's pretty self-explanatory.... Alan said there must be a "glitch" (on all FIVE websites??). I left, and he said someone would e-mail me - no one did. I later sent Alan an e-mail, and he never responded. The car is still listed, and has been for over 2 months. As I said, STAY AWAY. They are not reputable. More

Run as fast as you can from Zoom Auto Group I made the mistake and did not listen to pass feedback I read from folks that have done business (or tried to do business) with Zoom Auto Group. As y I made the mistake and did not listen to pass feedback I read from folks that have done business (or tried to do business) with Zoom Auto Group. As you can see, their ratings vs. other car dealers is much lower and I learned firsthand why. They will likely respond to this review and say I was hard to deal with and that they did everything I asked; however, the truth is these folks cannot be trusted. Yes I do feel like I got a good deal on the car I ultimately purchased from them but the entire time they made it feel as if they were doing me a favor and I am still not sure they understand the concept that the person purchasing the vehicle is the actual customer and not them. The summary of my experience with Zoom Auto Group is simple, their follow-up is awful and even though they made a deal with me, they decided they did not have to live up to the agreement once they received my cashier check. According to Matt, my car would be detailed and the couple of scratches on the hood would be repaired by their body shop. When the car arrived at my house (I live out of state) the scratches on the hood were still present and the car “might” have been vacuumed before it was shipped. When I called to question them, they assured me both were done yet when I asked them to provide a paid invoice proving it, they have yet to comply (hard to present something that never occurred). The entire time I dealt with these folks they made it feel as if they were doing me a favor. Matt even had the audacity to throw up the fact that they drove the car to a nearby BMW dealership to have it inspected when I was the one who scheduled to appointment and paid for the inspection, but he is correct that they had to drive the car 5 miles to the dealership in order to get a sale. They also agree to pay for shipping and told me it would likely take 3 days. Once they had the check in-hand, the timing moved to a week or longer as they were unwilling to pay the price needed in order for the bid to be picked up on-line by a driver. I was forced to pay $100 out of pocket or risk not seeing my car for who knows how long. Everyone can make their own choices as I did when I purchased this car from Zoom Auto Group; however, if I were you, I would run for the hills as these guys are shady and don’t have any concept of customer satisfaction or living up to written agreements between two parties. I do however need to give a shout out to both Lizette and Jasmin as they were both very helpful. Too bad they work for someone like Matt. Good luck! More
