I brought my vehicle in to have an oil leak repaired that was on the front side of the engine, a condenser swapped from one I brought in from another dealership and my right headlight connector replaced. The was on the front side of the engine, a condenser swapped from one I brought in from another dealership and my right headlight connector replaced. They told me they had the gaskets in stock. Everything should have been done within a week, but they ended up not having everything in stock like they said originally and they took 4 1/2 weeks to fix it. They would order one gasket at a time, which took 4-5 days to arrive. Every time I called to check the status, the technician was working on another vehicle instead of mine when the parts were already there. I was told they would replace the oil pan gasket, then “there is an upper oil pan gasket” and then “a lower”, then “the rear main seal” needed replaced where they had to remove the transmission found another gasket and didn’t end up replacing the rear main seal. I asked why it wasn’t done and was told it doesn’t normally go bad. I said you were already there, you should have replaced it. The a repetitive “it doesn’t normally go bad” statement. $5200 because of the labor. 9.4 hours to remove transmission and they didn’t even replace what they said they were going to replace. I didn’t even get a call from them when it was done, I had to call them. More
The service workmanship is fine as far as the mechanical work is concerned. Quality of the finished product was good. The scheduling to get my van worked on was terrible. I had an appointment and dropped of work is concerned. Quality of the finished product was good. The scheduling to get my van worked on was terrible. I had an appointment and dropped off 10/03/22. Kept following up to get repair date was told van was on a point system to get worked on. Stopped in to find out what was going on 10/13/22 was told they were getting van in that day to diagnose. York offered a rental but could not take car out of Indiana. Offer did not help me. Van was complex on 10:19/22. I had to call York as I did not receive call letting me know I could pick it up. More
The people were friendly, the only suggestion that i would give, is have the tech's that change oil cover the fenders of the vehicles. Mine had oil on each side from the techs shirt. would give, is have the tech's that change oil cover the fenders of the vehicles. Mine had oil on each side from the techs shirt. More
To start my family owns 2 hellcats 2 durangos & 1 TRX so my 2018 hellcat needed a new transmission (it is a modded car) the dealership agreed to install a new transmission in it at my cost $10,000 so we pai my 2018 hellcat needed a new transmission (it is a modded car) the dealership agreed to install a new transmission in it at my cost $10,000 so we paid for the transmission and spoke with the service advisor and agreed that the dealership would not go into the PCM just to avoid any problems with the tune. With that being said they flashed the PCM after they install the transmission without letting me know at all. So that led to the tune being deleted keep in mind we all agreed not to go into the PCM. So with that being said they had to send the PCM back to the place that tune the car to get it reinstalled. And they had the nerve to ask me to pay for it which I refused. They ended paying to get it reprogrammed which I thought was fair but then they charge me $248.99 to take the PCM out and have it shipped to be fixed. With it being their fault that they cleared the tune I don’t feel that they should’ve charge me to uninstall and then reinstall the PCM on their mistake. Keep in mind that we do on five dodge products so after an argument about the charge I went ahead and paid it. And then have the audacity to tell me not to bring none of my Dodge products back to their shops. My suggestion to everyone who Buys any dodge product or service to stay clear of this dealership. It’s funny how their slogan is that we’re not number one you are. Lol I sure as xxxx don’t feel like number one. I hope this post will inform everyone the kind of business they are doing at the Dodge dealership in Plainfield Indiana. More
