I had a great experience at World Toyota, and I'm sure to let everybody know. Before contacting World Toyota, I had contacted several other Metro Atlanta area Toyota dealerships to request quotes. Cobb County Toyota replied to me with the best quote, so I decided to visit their dealership first. From 2003 to 2004 I also worked as the weekend cashier in the service department, and I figured that Cobb Co Toyota would be nice to me and possibly willingly to give me a slightly better deal as a former employee. Boy was I wrong. They were rude, pushy, raised their voices, questioned my intelligence, and used all the lines in the book on me even though they knew I was a former employee! I left without purchasing a vehicle because they refused to come down an additional $185, and also because of how awful they were to a potential customer. When I got home, I realized the internet quote they'd given me was cheaper than what they were trying to give me that night in person. The next morning the salesman, Tom Ullom, called me and asked if I had crunched the numbers to realize what a great deal I'd walked away from. I told him that the internet quote was cheaper, and he then asked if I would purchase the vehicle if they honored the price I was quoted. A resounding no. I told him the finance manager owed me an apology and that if my husband to see how he treated me, things would have gone down differently. Tom then had the GALL to say the finance manager "...wasn't selling [me] the car." I retorted that it certainly did not help his case, though. So later that day I emailed World Toyota to see if they'd match the price, and they not only matched it, but beat it! Ken Meagher was my salesman, and he was just wonderful. During the test drive, he pointed out things here and there, but he didn't bore me to death or irritate me by trying to "sell me the car." He was just pleasant to talk to, and he has a great sense of humor. Negotiating the price wasn't painful, and I am extremely happy because I got the EXACT car I wanted within $50 of the budget I'd set for myself. When it came time for financing, I dealt with Rohan. He was great, too! He explained the 7 year extended warranty, and when I declined he said "OK." He didn't try to push it on me. If I didn't have a complaint, then people probably wouldn't believe I was an actual customer. The only *minor* complaint I have is how long the detailing took after the purchase of my car was complete, but even then, it wasn't that bad. More than anything, I think I was just really sleepy and excited to drive my new car! Seriously, is there a 6 on the rating scale? I love my 2009 Corolla XLE and World Toyota! More
Since purchase of our Toyota Tacoma in 2007 from World Toyota we have returned there exclusively for service even though we have a different dealer close by. Our service Adviser, Jerry Bearden, is a pleasure to do business with; very courteous, always prompt and very careful to cover all issues and/or questions thoroughly, both before and after service. The entire service area is structured for convenience and comfort with an area provided to work if necessary, lots of magazines/newspapers to read and of course the TV you can never escape from. The popcorn is a nice touch! We did attempt to buy our Tacoma from a nearby dealer but had problems. World Toyota approached our new car search with a "can do" attitude from the start. Good job! More
I bought a brand new Sienna minivan and while driving home from the lot, the airbag light started blinking. To make a long story short, World Toyota ensured that, despite a very rough start, when this sa home from the lot, the airbag light started blinking. To make a long story short, World Toyota ensured that, despite a very rough start, when this safety issue could not be fixed and in fact additional issues arose, I received a replacement minivan. The staff members were pleasant and accomodating. I recommend World Toyota to others considering the purchase of a new car. More
I was greated when I arrived and reviewed my service request. Upon inspection of the vehicle my advisor Hee Soo reviewed his findings with me. I did not expect to buy a car from this dealership. I expected the one I had dealt with previously to ultimately give me the best deal. However, when I went in to get a quote(less than an hour from clos expected the one I had dealt with previously to ultimately give me the best deal. However, when I went in to get a quote(less than an hour from closing), they entered into serious, but low pressure negotiation, and ultimately offered me a price nearly $1000 less than the company I expected to give me the best deal. Each person I dealt with was professional, personable, and unhurried (in spite of the hour, far after closing time by the time I was finished.) After signing to buy, I found out about even more Customer Service benefits. I felt like personnel listened to me. I am very impressed with the service provided, and will definitely recommend World Toyota. More
I lost my keys to my new Toyota Tundra and had to have it towed to the dealership at World T. Stephen was very professional and helpful during this process. I have been going to World Toyota in Chamblee before it was World Toyota. The service dept has always been top notch and easy to work with. This trip was for a 40K service on my 2005 Tundra. Simple servic was World Toyota. The service dept has always been top notch and easy to work with. This trip was for a 40K service on my 2005 Tundra. Simple service which included new wiper blades. After waiting about 45 mins, my truck was ready. I paid for the service and drove out. As I drove away, I noticed that the wiper blades had not been replaced as requested. I returned to the dealer and brought this to Dumas's attention. He looked at it and was surprised and embarassed that they had not been replaced. He immediately went to the back and came back with the new blades in hand and took care of it himself. He also took it upon himself to refund me the cost of the wiper blades for my trouble. As I was leaving, I was also approached by the Service Manager who also applogized for the oversight. It is a small issue and small inconvenience but the situation was handled very professionally. The estimator gave me an estimated time for the job--and actually completed the job in twenty minutes less than the estimate. She invited me to come out and inspect the job--and noted that the worker had left some residue glue (from tape I had used to "hold the repair together" before I came there) and immediately made sure that this was remedied right away--and neatly too. Finally I had lost a hub cap recently and had been told by my tire dealer that you had to buy Toyota hub caps in packages of four. The estimator noted the absence of the hub cap; asked if I wanted a replacment. Called their shop immediately; found none in stock, but arranged for one hub cap to be ordered for my car. Superb service. More
