I have used World Toyota for 20 years to service my Toyota 4 Runners. Saturday, Feb 15, 2025 was by far the least pleasant experience I have had with them. I called the location the week of my schedu Toyota 4 Runners. Saturday, Feb 15, 2025 was by far the least pleasant experience I have had with them. I called the location the week of my scheduled appt and spoke with a lady in the Service Dept. Based on the miles on my vehicle, she quoted me 3 options of service I could choose from for my 100K miles service. On the day of my appt, was quoted something entirely different, $300 different and that was my ONLY option. I contested but the service rep remained firm in what my option was, which really wasn't an option. I found some coupons, which totaled $70 that she allowed me to apply to my invoice. Which basically covered the tax. She did offer me a payment option, When I pressed the issue more about the discrepancy in the cost, I was told I spoke with someone in corporate and they don't typically have an idea of what a vehicle may need. I stated that I dialed i to the local number. Further more, she didn't do anything more with my vehicle than the person on the phone. I verbalized the current odometer reading to the person one the phone, and she just took a picture of the odometer. Fast forward, upon my return to pick up my vehicle, I shared with her, as an employee of the BBB, the experience I had that day defiled many of the "BBB's Standards of Trust." She politely smiled and collected my payment. I planned to purchase my new set of tires next month from this location but definitely will not after this horrible experience. I am sure a tire dealer will welcome my business. More
