Service Department is a Rip Off! Had a airbag recall on my Ram truck, It was time for an oil change so I decided to get it done at same time. I thought this would be simple. I left Had a airbag recall on my Ram truck, It was time for an oil change so I decided to get it done at same time. I thought this would be simple. I left my truck overnight as I was not in a rush. The next day I received a call and they wanted to know if I wanted the check engine light checked, I told them yes that it was the gas cap and small leak at smog pump as I have had it scanned at auto zone a couple times for free. No big deal, I have drove it 2 years with this problem. A bit later I get a call and they told me the same thing, gas cap and leak in smog pump. Then they told me I should do other maintenance , because they didn't know when it was last done. Tried to get me for over 1200.00. I told them no and to just do the oil change. he said that would be 109.95. After thinking about it, I knew they thought my truck was a diesel. I called back and Yes they had priced me for a diesel. Now i'm thinking have they even looked at my truck?? It has a Hemi. About 30 minutes later I get a call that the oil change and recall were done and ready to pickup. I went to get my truck and the lady handed me the bill, 200.00! 120.00 for the scan and 54.95 for oil change plus tax . This place is a Rip off! I will never go back and glad I found out how they were before I bought a new truck there. They got my 120.00 but they lost a lot more than that in the long run. . More
