After making an appointment to speak with him, Pat did thorough research and was prepared for our meeting. This made the process go smoothly. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle and patient with my requests for information. he was also willing to work with me and requested they accept a down payment that day to take the vehicle out of the sales pool and close at the beginning of the next quarter, 7/2/2018. Gray to blue skys My partner and I were on our way to a music festival in my gray 2008 Subaru Forester. We were about 2 hours into the 4 hour trip. Our bags were packed My partner and I were on our way to a music festival in my gray 2008 Subaru Forester. We were about 2 hours into the 4 hour trip. Our bags were packed in the back and we had cool drinks in the cooler. The windows were down and we had the music up. I had my cruise control on 60 and we were coasting on the highway, We come up on a hill, I've had this car for 3 years and I loved it. We come up the hill and the car shifts gears to make it up the hill. Then it makes a funny sound so I turn the music off and make my way to the side of the highway, in the middle of nowhere. I get over safely and put the car in park to listen to the engine. Then, my partner and I look at each other and realize the engine isn't even running... What?! Neither of us know much about cars so we just take the key out and take a deep breath. We try to turn the car back on and the battery and starter are trying but the engine won't kick on. At this point, I start to panic. I call family and finally realize I have to get a tow. I submit the tow request and we sit in the car on the highway in 100 degree weather. I request we make our way back to Binghamton instead of the first place we were headed. We hop in the tow truck while the man rigs up my car. I have watch too much crime shows to know we were not safe with a tow truck stranger. Luckily all was okay as we made it the 20 minutes back to Binghamton. We got dropped off at Mr. Tire and then began to wait. We waited for 3 hours for them to finally tell me that the engine was dead. It was a 5,000 minimum to fix it. S***. Now, what?! The man behind the counter says, "Well, there is a Toyota dealership down the street." I look at my phone, its 3:45 and the dealership closes at 5. I was thinking, there is no way, but I gotta try! I'm still two hours from home and we share a car! We walk down the street in the blazing sun and are sweating by the time we get there. We walked in and there were 3 smiling faces. I said, "Please help us! This has been an awful day" That is where my hero Jeff Klieger stepped up and took care of us! After explaining my story, he saw the desperation in my eyes and worked non-stop for the next hour! We walked out on the lot and talked about the options of either leasing, buying new and buying used. I've never leased but I thought in this situation, it would be a good idea and I could walk out with a new car. My partner spotted an electric blue Toyota Rav 4 2018 from a distance and it seemed like it was the light at the end of the tunnel. I told Jeff that I wanted that one and then we were put in a tail spin of paper work. He ran circles around us to get all the paper work done in time before closing hour. He slowed down every time he needed to explain something to me and never made me feel rushed. He submitted paperwork while we hopped into a different car to go get the plates off of the Subaru down the street. I emptied my entire car into the truck of the other. Handed him my insurance and registration while he took the plates off. We all paused to say a final goodbye and that was that. Back to the dealership to put a down payment down while the car got washed and filled with gas. One last thing to sign with Amanda and I was out the door. The lights were off and Jeff was waiting with the keys in front of this electric blue Rav 4. We all took a deep breath and piled in the new car, that did not seem like mine yet. Jeff proceeded to stay an extra 45 minutes past closing time to go over all the features of the car and connect my phone to the bluetooth. He made sure I didn't have any questions and he was going to take care of my Subaru. Before we parted ways, we took this picture. It was meant to be a blue sky kind of day and thanks to Jeff it ended up like that!! Thank you so much for all you did Jeff! More

I scheduled the appointment (which turned out to be unnecessary) and then spoke to Jeff Klieger. And suddenly what would have been a rather boring time consuming process (the service appointment) became simple, rather quick and easy acquisition of a new 2018 RAV4 with more bells and whistles, great color and for less than my previous lease! Jeff was great on the phone: answering questions, showing me on the web site what the options were, etc. I was able to send photos of documents and make the down payment on my cell phone so that when on a day off I came to Jack Sherman all I had to do was sign documents, have the plates taken off taken off the 2015 and placed on the new 2018 RAV4. Thank you! More

Luckily, we got Jeff who went beyond his job and made it a wonder car shopping experience. My mother who always has lots of questions and high expectations was blown away with the fact that Jeff addressed everything and more. When I talked to Jeff over the phone, I was already set on buying the car. Luckily, he knocked some sense into me and didn't let me do that. He insisted we should really check out the car thoroughly and talk it over in personal to see if it was the right car for me. When it was time to draw up paperworks and fire away with all the questions, he was always one step ahead of us and covered any questions we would have. We ended up buying and driving the car home the same day. Jeff is easy to work with, highly attentive, helpful and just knows his stuff, I highly recommend him for your future car purchase! :) More
