I was very pleased with my experience with Susan Blackwell and Westside Lexus. She was able to answer my questions and took the time to help me "experience" the car (i.e. synching up my phone so I Blackwell and Westside Lexus. I felt she was honest and trustworthy. I enjoyed working with her! I also appreciate the dealership's free 2 years service and willingess to bring a loaner car to me for service appts so I don't have to drive in. More
Just have to say I have never had such a nice experience in purchasing a car. Jeff was such an attentive and wonderful salesman. Great product!!! Personnel very courteous but SO busy--a good thing. Only got a thumbnail lesson on the technology as I picked my car up late in the day. I bought the 2012 LS460 now, even though the lease was not up until 2013 because I do not want to buy a 2013. I had seen the 2013 on line and discovered that it would have a mouse/joystick that I detest. not up until 2013 because I do not want to buy a 2013. I had seen the 2013 on line and discovered that it would have a mouse/joystick that I detest. It is a distraction from the road, and I believe it it a step backwards for Lexus. It seems that Lexus is now following the German designers instead of being an industry leader as it has always been. I bought my first LS in 1989 (1990 model) and have never waivered from buying Lexus. My husband and I currently own three. The only one I am not happy with is the new RX we bought for our second home in San Diego, and it has a mouse. It takes my eyes from the road and because of that, I do not use it. I use my bluetooh for my iPod and never have to use the screen. I have been told that once I learn to use it, It will not be a distraction. Really? What happens on the road while I am trying to learn to use it? Are others around me safe? Am I supposed to sit in my driveway for hours until I become so familiar with it that I never have to look away from the screen/mouse? At least the screen on my current cars are very easy to use and I only have to take my eyes off the road for a fraction of a second. To summarize, I will love the new 2012 but may never buy a new Lexus again. What a waste of engineering talent. More
