Now a day’s my wife and I expect average customer service when we buy something in this day and age. I understand things and times change. Call me old fashioned..... My belief is that the customer is always right. That isn't the case as much as it used to be when I was growing up and I'm not even forty yet. Here's my experience and you can make your own decision on the customer service. I looked all over the internet for a newer vehicle for my wife. After many phone calls we decided to go look at a few vehicles to see if they were what we could use as a family. Each time we stopped at the vehicle lots to talk with the sales associates at each of the local dealerships we felt there was a breakdown in communication. We had a specific price range we were looking at and each dealership tried to up sell us at every opportunity. We got very frustrated with this process. It also seemed as if I knew more about the vehicles that they were trying to buy than the salesperson. Honestly, my wife and I were tired of going out and looking for cars and feeling let down each time we saw something we liked. We decided to take a break and gather ourselves..... We hadn't tried McGrath. My preconceived idea about McGrath was that they were too big to give good customer service. Man was I wrong! I called up Denny at the Westdale Used Car Center at 2:00 in the afternoon. I told him my frustration with the car buying experience so far. I needed a car for my wife and I had cash to buy the right one if I found it. I told him that there were three vehicles that I was interested in on their website. The problem was that they were at three were at three different McGrath dealerships. He told me that wasn't a problem and that he could have them at the Westdale location by 5:00 that evening for me to look over. I schedule that appointment for 5:30 to meet him with the vehicles. My wife and I met at the dealership and looked at the three vehicles and drove one. Within 15 minutes of arriving we were talking trade in and pricing. There wasn't a lot of back and forth xx. The transaction was very straight forward. Within 30 minutes we were signing the purchase agreement. I decided to wander around in the lobby and see if it was just me that was getting great customer service. As I observed each transaction I saw an underlying theme. There was no animosity between the sales people and the customers. I was asked repeatedly if I needed something to drink or needed to sit down. Within an hour they took the vehicle to get gas and did some touch up details. Everyone was smiling and treated me as if I mattered. I drove away in our new vehicle feeling like I was treated with respect and it mattered to them that I got the right vehicle. I purposely waited a couple months to write this review. Sometimes when you reflect a while on an experience the experience diminishes as time goes by. This wasn't the case with this interaction. I can honestly say that I have recommended Denny Zimmerman and the Westdale Team at least a half dozen times to my clients and friends. I hate reading super long rants so here is a sum up of what I went through: They would not look into selling me the car I was interested in, they were trying to sell me a car that had a slipping tranny. what I went through: They would not look into selling me the car I was interested in, they were trying to sell me a car that had a slipping tranny. When asked if they would clean the seats before I purchased it I was told "that's why seat covers were invented". The car I ended up purchasing was advertised to have a working A/C unit - but didn't (this got fixed). They refused to give me a loaner while my car was being fixed. I was given the wrong key fob. I got the new key fob after two months of the "I thought YOU ordered it" game. The clutch went out after 6 months of ownership which is over a 800 dollar repair. When I tried to refinance my loan I was told that I was sold the car at 3 times the value of Kelly Blue Book. All in all it was a HORRIBLE experience and I would not recomend this dealership to my enimy - or any Pat McGrath dealers for that matter. More

I would not recommend this dealership! Dillon was nice and worked hard for our business and Roland was also very pleasant to work with, but Austin is the one who almost lost our business. He wasn't very compassionate to what we said we could afford. He also lied in saying that tax, title, and license are almost never included in the loan when every car I've boughten they have included it. The cat and mouse games were so extreme I forgot I was buying a car and was sure I had been transported to a Tom and Jerry episode. So in the end while I got a car I will not be returning to Westdale nor will I be sending my family or friends here. More
Tony Westbrook took care of our needs after purchasing a car from Westdale Auto. He was extremely attentative to our needs and kept in constant contact with us while a part was ordered and then taken in to car from Westdale Auto.
