This is a rather long missive, but I feel you need to know the whole story. We are loyal Toyota owners for many years now. We decided to look into getting a Tundra to tow our 22’ camper, thinking it was know the whole story. We are loyal Toyota owners for many years now. We decided to look into getting a Tundra to tow our 22’ camper, thinking it was too much for our Tacoma. We started doing research at the speed of the internet in a 50 mile radius, and West Herr and a competitor came up with 3 similar Tundras, all meeting our needs. Website said it was at West Herr Chevy of Rochester in Henrietta, which was closest to us, so we traveled up from Perry. We were met by a congenial gentleman by the name of Gene Artigue, who found the truck actually wasn’t on their lot, it was at the WH Lockport location. Gene spent considerable time with us going over our Tacoma trade-in, stressing that WH would do whatever possible to make this happen for us, no gimmicks, no pressure, no smarmy salesbabble. We were treated with great fairness and respect. We were told the truck was being ferried back to Henrietta, and would likely be ready for us mid-afternoon next day, so numbers were crunched and a figure was given us to come back with. We did travel back up next day, check in hand, and waited for our new ride. Come quitting time, we’re getting antsy, and out comes the Used Car Sales Manager, Mike Clark. He took us back to see that our Tundra was indeed being taken care of, and stressed that he wanted us to completely understand what was going on with the truck. His forthrightness and that of the service technician, Larry, gave us the confidence to finish the paperwork in a timely manner, with the promise that West Herr would deliver the Tundra to us next day. We have nothing but praise for how we were handled from the moment we pulled into your lot to taking delivery of a beautiful pre-owned Tundra in perfect condition.
