Ordered a Audi S4 with Matt Spence at West Broad Audi and he made the experience truly unique. Matt was responsive to my questions during the ordering process and did a good job keeping me up to date as far he made the experience truly unique. Matt was responsive to my questions during the ordering process and did a good job keeping me up to date as far as delivery date. The entire staff, including financing staff and managers were eager to help whenever necessary and quite efficient when it came time to pick up the car. The car thus far is outperforming any of my expectations. I would recommend this agent and dealer to anyone seriously considering an Audi. More
Light for a TPMS malfunction came on. It took 5 trips and nearly $1,000 to fix. They originally (mis)diagnosed it as a bad sensor, and swapped the one for the spare ($98 to diagnose; $50 to fix). The l and nearly $1,000 to fix. They originally (mis)diagnosed it as a bad sensor, and swapped the one for the spare ($98 to diagnose; $50 to fix). The light came back on later that day. Then they said we had to replace all sensors ($600). We agreed, but the light came back on again later that day. Then they decided it was the antenna ($500, but they'd let me have it for $250). Every time I came back they wanted to charge me more, and they could never tell me the total cost to actually resolve the problem. Everyone knows that dealers charge more, but the expectation is that they have the tools and expertise to correctly diagnose a problem. My local repair shop could change out parts until they find the bad one -- at much lower cost. I felt ripped off. They showed little interest in customer service. I found Mike to be rude and condescending. They seem to view this department as more of a profit center than a service center. More
Fabulous customer service and attention to our needs with our Tiguan purchase! No pressure, very at ease compared to other dealerships. Simply put: DO NOT GET YOUR AUDI SERVICED HERE. Their service department can handle Volkswagens, but they don't know the first thing about Audis. I took my car in at 15,000 miles for service and to se service department can handle Volkswagens, but they don't know the first thing about Audis. I took my car in at 15,000 miles for service and to see about fixing a mechanical fault with the convertible top not locking in place when I closed it. While it was in they called to tell me that they couldn't find the problem, but that I needed my tires balanced and rotated. I had hit a couple of potholes hard, so I took them at their word. When I got it back, the first thing I noticed was that they had left my rear-window defroster on, something my last dealership told me was a no-no (it burns out the defroster if you leave it on). The next thing I noticed was that it didn't handle as well as it had before I got the "Alignment". I then checked the tire pressure to find all four of my tires over-inflated. Furthermore, when I checked the oil, it was over-filled. That was just the regular service. When I finally put the top down and put it back up, it locked in place, but the passenger side window would not stay up (a safety feature, if the window hits something too soon, it automatically goes back down). There wasn't anything for it to hit but my top, which means that while they found a way to get it to lock, they didn't solve the underlying issue and returned it to me in that condition. Frustrated, I hadn't planned on going back, but I received a card in the mail from Audi USA with the $100.00 off coupon and very clearly labelled and pictured on the card the "Complementary Tire Tote-bags with any purchase", and they listed West Broad as the place to go get them. Foolishly I went back. (All they're doing is changing out the tires, how can they screw that up?) The problem was, The parts guy I spoke to didn't know what I was talking about when I said winter tire package. He tried to sell me new tires, not the whole with-wheel package. When I explained it to him, I was quoted a price over the phone for the parts that was $400 more than what the Audi Website and the promotional card they sent me said. (The Tire Package was 2795 with $100 off, so it should have been $2695 plus tax and labor, Tim quoted me $3100 over the phone, with $55 for each bag). I went in with the card and coupon in hand and explained what I thought the card was trying to tell me. Tim said some bull about the offer being for something else (despite the tote-bags being clearly pictured and labelled as such). I didn't press the issue or ask to see his manager, but when I came back to pick up the car, I was told that "Two of the tires were put on backwards at the factory" and "They had to take them off and remount them", and when I looked at the bill, it was $3400.00. They apparently charged me for the labor to "fix the factory problem", and instead of the $55 that Tim had quoted me over the phone for my complementary bags, they charged me $98 a piece. Simply put: DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE. If I can I will get their Audi Accreditation revoked. More
Poor experience. I recently took my 2004 A4 to West Broad Audi and was disappointed by the service I received. Brad Reichwein (service manager), Mark Parham (store GM), and technician Brock were every buyers Audi and was disappointed by the service I received. Brad Reichwein (service manager), Mark Parham (store GM), and technician Brock were every buyers worst nightmare. I took my Audi to West Broad Audi/ VW for a diagnostic. At the time I was working with an outside German car specialist that recommended I take the car to the dealership because he was having trouble pinpointing the issue regarding why my check engine light was on. Basically, I was told that every piece of work he had done was wrong, everything the dealership I purchased the vehicle from was wrong, and that I needed to fix everything they recommended before they could fully diagnose. At first I was so taken back that I told them I would need a little time to speak with these other parties before authorizing the work. After thinking about the conversation I had with Brad, I began to question all of the work they were claiming needed to be completed. It was odd to me how he used disclaimers such as “this may fix your problem” or “it could be your injectors or vacuum but we cannot guarantee it”. A few days later I called the service department to make an appointment to have my outside mechanic come by to understand the work they were saying needed to be done. I called on a Thursday to set up an appointment for Saturday 9am. Brad assured me that he would not be at work, but the technician Brock would be there to go over the car. Saturday morning came and I arrived for the appointment. The gentleman working the service lane that morning said, “Brad and Brock are not working today. I remember when you called, as soon as Brad finished speaking with you I told him he was mistaken and Brock was not working today.” I never got a phone call rectifying the mistake, Brad did not call Monday as they promised he would, and through my whole ordeal with the dealership no one ever apologized for the inconvenience. I was so angry by the missed appointment and the non- direct diagnosis that I decided to go to the store GM Mark Parham to try to get better results. Mark was undoubtedly the biggest let down at this dealership. He was in a rush to leave at 3:30 in the afternoon and was completely unprofessional. He did not shake my hand, show me any respect, or treat me like a customer. He told me his service department told me some things that could be wrong and I would pay the $100 diagnostic fee. Basically my diagnostic is a list of things that can cause a check engine light to come on and they would like to fix in a trial- and- error type of thing. All I wanted was a direct answer of what the problem was or someone to say if we try these things and we are wrong we are not going to keep charging you and keep playing around. Mark told me the $1600 was basically pocket change and that if I gave him $5000 right now he would guarantee his mechanics would fix my car, but the nearly $2000 they wanted without a straight answer of the problem was just my loss. (Money was not the object here, it’s throwing money away that I have a problem with.) In the end, I agreed to pay the diagnostic and depart, only to find somehow the “Audi specialists” managed to completely drain my battery since I dropped it off. I asked both men to be sure I get to complete the CSI survey, yet for some reason Brad tried to get me out of the door and not get my contact information. I of course made him enter my email address in the system and print out a copy of my contact information to make sure it doesn’t get “lost in the mail.” Do not do business with this group, because unfortunately Brad Reichwein and Mark Parham are equally unprofessional and simply do not care about customer service. Do not use West Broad Audi for your Audi service provider. Absolutely terrible customer service! Brad Reichwein had the most arrogant, smug attitude I've ever experienced with a dealership's service provider. Absolutely terrible customer service! Brad Reichwein had the most arrogant, smug attitude I've ever experienced with a dealership's service representative! Paid for the 100K mile extended warrenty and had a diagnostic completed and was told that the tires had to be replaced. Brad charged me $30 to tell me the tires need to be replaced. Took the vehicle to an Audi dealer in Washington D.C. and was told that the tires were completely fine and that they have at least 20K more miles before we need to think about replacing them. Brad's arrogant attitude was so infuriating that we'll never use this dealership again. Oh, and the dealer in D.C. didn't charge us a penny to run a diagnostic on the vehicle and tell us nothing was wrong with it. West Broad Audi is terrible! Will never use again. More
Michael Fetty was great! He was able to answer all questions both through e-mail, phone, text, and in person. Even after having a minor issue with the vehicle, a few days later, Fetty was very helpful questions both through e-mail, phone, text, and in person. Even after having a minor issue with the vehicle, a few days later, Fetty was very helpful and made sure that Audi Service was aware and they took care of my vehicle right away. Overall, I have no complaints. I love my Audi A4 and I am very pleased with how I was treated and the service that I have received and will continue to receive in the future. West Broad Audi has earned a customer for life! More
I used the internet sales department to order a new S4. I'm from out of area, but was willing to go elsewhere for a good price. He was honest with me regarding the margin they have on my particular model I'm from out of area, but was willing to go elsewhere for a good price. He was honest with me regarding the margin they have on my particular model (which is easy to verify given the information on the internet these days). He told me to make him a fair offer, which I did (better deal than the 6 other dealers I had contacted)....and one hour later he had my deposit. I appreciate him for treating me like an educated consumer. I would definitely do business with him in the future. More
I had contacted Michael two days before our visit and told him specifics for our visit. Michael was very accommodating to our needs. My daughter and I did not get the run around as we experienced at an told him specifics for our visit. Michael was very accommodating to our needs. My daughter and I did not get the run around as we experienced at another dealer a week prior. A couple of years back, we bought from this dealership for our younger daughter with very positive results. When I am in the market for a car, I will not hesitate to return to West Broad VW/Audi.
