Michael Wyre provided fantastic service when I brought my 2022 Kia Forte GT in for it's first oil change. He greeted me at my vehicle immediately and with a smile. Despite my negative experiences at #WernerKia, I'm a Kia fan, and Werner is kind of the only Kia dealership in town. I had been researching the 2023 Kia Sportage. I loved the new trim and knew I wanted to u fan, and Werner is kind of the only Kia dealership in town. I had been researching the 2023 Kia Sportage. I loved the new trim and knew I wanted to upgrade from my Soul for more cargo room. I was sold. But there were none in stock! Thankfully, I was informed that one exactly like I wanted was en-route. It would be there in about a week or two. I was excited and exchanged texts with a salesperson daily for updates. Yesterday, I get a call from the salesperson stating that the vehicle I had been waiting for was finally arriving and it would be ready for a test drive the next day starting at 11 AM. I said sign me up and arrived promptly at 11 AM to meet Carl, a sales manager. Carl is a nice guy, and I honestly think he got caught in this situation by no fault of his own. But Carl takes me out to look at the 2023 Kia Sportage. It was so new it still had plastic wrap all over the inside consoles and the new car smell was divine. Carl went over all the features. He informed me that I couldn't test drive the vehicle yet, though, because it hadn't been through initial inspection. I was a little upset at this, since the reason I made the appointment was specifically to test drive the vehicle before buying. Mind you I'd already pre-qualified for financing and this was all a formality really. At least it should have been. So Carl and I are sitting at his desk chatting and the keys to my future car lay right in front of me. Then some blond-headed salesman approaches us and says, "Sorry to do this, but some nice lady just bought this vehicle. So sorry!" and grabs the keys up. It took a second for that to sink in. You lead me on for a week, lure me out here, have me sit in the car, sit the keys in front of me, run the numbers, and then come and tell me that despite doing everything right on my part you're going to sell the vehicle to someone else!! Oh my goodness, I was angry. I could have plumb knocked someone out. Then Michael, another manager, runs to me pleading for my business. xxx Kia? One less loyal customer. More
