I'm writing this review because Al asked me to write him a positive review so that he can win Red Sox tickets for him and his 3 kids. He told me I should write a positive review because he could have treated me a lot worse than he did, considering I told him I am considering another car. I found this extremely rude and unprofessional. I also found Al to be extremely disorganized throughout the entire process. He was constantly fumbling for keys, misplacing things, did not seem knowledgeable when I asked him specific questions about the vehicles, left me waiting in the hot parking lot for quite some time, and overall seemed to be a bit of a mess. Sorry Al- no positive review here. More
I came to Watertown ford on a whim when I saw a car for sale online that I liked. I was greeted by Al immediately when I arrived and everything was smooth sailing from there. These guys are great, I never once felt pressured to purchase anything and they didn't try to up sell me either! I knew what I wanted and explained to them what I could and we quickly came to an agreement. Al and Bruce were honest and straight forward with me and were very willing to work with my requests and answer all of my questions. I would highly recommend this dealership as I have NEVER had such a wonderful and easy experience in my life! More
My experience at Watertown Ford was excellent. Not knowing what to expect, it turned out to be a great experince, We met out in the lot even though it was raining and showed all different models and styles and helped me pick the right car for us. Came from Salem NH to view a pre-owned vehicle we saw online. Immediately greeted by a friendly salesman, Al Abramson. We test drove, discussed trade-in and pricing and put together a deal. While we were still thinking it over, they were all very patient including manager, Gerry, understanding our "taking our time". I like the way this dealer worked with me doing everything to select the best match to my needs. They scheduled my appointment very fast. The representative worked with me in very competent and cooperative manner. He sounded realistic and honest. I had test drives on 2 target vehicles. I did like both a 2010 Ford Escape and 2010 Ford Fusion. I was considering to put my current 2005 Ford Escape as a dowpayment, and get another reliable slighly used vehicle within the monthly payment limit of about $200. During the first hour of negotiation I understood that these guys are flexible and they do their best to find a right match for me. They made me an offer which is hard to refuse. I'm a picky client, and i actually took time to think. While I have been thinking this team has been working about offering me even better deal. Now I have got it. And another very important thing: during the whole entire process, there was no feeling of the pressure, one sometimes may experience in many dealerships. I love this place. More
As soon as we walked into this dealership, my boyfriend and I felt uneasy. The salesman who greeted us came off as blatantly insincere right away. His demeanor was awkward and we did not feel comfortable. He almost seemed insecure in his dealings with us. More importantly, he was not well-informed about the truck we were interested in. When we asked a question, his answers were vague and uncertain. In turn, he asked us some rather odd questions. After deciding we probably wanted to purchase the vehicle anyway, this salesman (Al?) then completely confused and deceived us with the pricing. He wrote out on a piece of paper how the cost would break down and what the final price would be. When we finally made it to the business manager's office, the price had literally doubled. We immediately questioned it and got upset, so they brought in the sales manager, Bruce. He was condescending and rude, making US feel like we had stupidly misinterpreted what the saleman told us and that we should know better. His exact words (said in frustration) were "C'mon guys, you really thought that?". Obviously, we left and won't ever be returning. We found the whole staff to be conniving, condescending and misleading. Be very careful if you use this dealership. More
I went into the Ford dealer on Sunday, I wanted to lease a new Focus. Al met me right inside the door, he was very friendly but not pushy.
