I had an oil consumption issue where i was using a qt of oil every 1000 miles. I called and asked about warranty concerns and if it would be covered if i didn’t have all oil change receipts. Answer was “bring it in and we will decide what we can do based off the diagnostic”. Once i got it there the young man working behind the counter couldn’t answer questions “Sorry, I’m new”. After driving an hour and dropping it off at 7 am I got a call that they needed to change the oil to see what was wrong. I told them “how is this any different than me saying that it burns a qt if oil every 1000 miles”. Again the young man didn’t have an answer. I then asked once an issue was found would it be covered under warranty.?? Without hesitation i was told no. (why couldn’t this have been answered in the first place?). I said not to do any additional work until I can get some answers to what options i have so they told me the car was ready for pick up. After another hour drive we came and waited for one hour so they could complete the bill. $90 later and no work done we were able to go home. Very confusing, frustrating and unprofessional. I will not be going to Brooklyn Park Walser again. More
