Having been a long term satisfied customer of Walter GMC, I was greatly disappointed, when after a routine service appointment, I encountered an excessive oil leak requiring my Canyon to be towed back to the I was greatly disappointed, when after a routine service appointment, I encountered an excessive oil leak requiring my Canyon to be towed back to the dealership. It appeared to be poor attention to assuring that a simple oil change was completed properly. After fixing the problem, and on my way home, I was further disappointed when my fill oil warning light went on after driving less than one mile. Returning to the dealership (3rd time) it was finally fixed. Although mistakes can be made, I would hope that Walser would be more demanding in doing the job correctly the first time. I will be returning to Walser for future work with heightened awareness that routine service cannot be taken for granted. I should also say that the Walser staff was very good in how they communicated with me and acknowledged the seriousness of the errors. Shannan was professional and transparent in her communications and Jeff, once he became involved, apologized and assured me that this was very uncommon and would not be happening again. I am hoping to return to Walser with the expectation that there will not be similar problems. More
