I found my experience at Renton Mazda to be the best car purchasing experience I have ever had. The first thing I noticed was that the sales people were not the typical 'car sales man vultures' just waitin purchasing experience I have ever had. The first thing I noticed was that the sales people were not the typical 'car sales man vultures' just waiting for you to step out of your car and pounce on you. I worked with both Doug and Ken and found them to be very professional, respectful of time, well informed (they answered all my questions), and never pushy. I did not make the purchase on my first visit and didn't get the , "I can only make this deal today, the boss is gone and he'll kill me but I really like you and want you to have this car..." line. Alden in finance was most helpful and efficient. I would highly recommend this dealership and these 3 gentlemen to anyone considering a Mazada. More

Two other dealers were not willing to work with us on price (we weren't asking them to move mountains, just give us a competitive price), and Doug T. pulled through. Called him on the way from Bellevue to Renton; negotiated price on the phone; chose specific car over the phone; he had it all ready when we arrived. And he exuded graciousness the whole time - not pushy or know-it-all, just friendly, and it actually seemed like he cared more about our interests than his or the dealership's. We didn't have to talk with his manager (you know, the good-cop, bad-cop thing) or the "big boss" and hear crap about how much the dealership would lose to sell us a car at what we were offering. Worked with Doug the whole time and got exactly the price we were hoping for. No games at all, which is incredibly important to me when I'm buying a car. I'd drive hours for such a pleasant car-buying experience!! More

I started my new purchase journey through online searches after online searches. I obtained a truecar report which was automatically sent to a few different dealerships. James Morrison reached out extremely after online searches. I obtained a truecar report which was automatically sent to a few different dealerships. James Morrison reached out extremely prompt, and very interested in learning more of what I needed and what I wanted. I found this was the most captivating way to start the conversation. His email wasn't filled with pages and pages of selling. His response was straight forward, honest and very knoweldgeable. James and I stayed in contact for about a month through email, and all of his responses to all of my knit-picking questions were extremely transparent and honest. Never did I feel as if I was being tricked, or pulled in. I was in control of my deal, and James graciously guided me through his process. I went in for a few test drives, with a New car and a Certified Pre-Owned. I ended up going the pre-owned route, and James was very supportive. I made it very clear that I had made my decisions, and the entire process was painless and very pleasant! His entire demeanour was kind. He is a very nice man, with a down-to-earth attitude. He's not all about making the sale. I felt he understood what I was looking for. And I found it! One bag thing about this whole experience, and this does NOT reflect on James, however, the financial department (specifically Lori Brown and Lap Nguyen) ended up "forgetting" or "overlooking" a few different things in my contract, which resulted in two different meet ups at my place of business. James contacted me on behalf of Lap and Lori and basically NEEDED a signature THEY forgot to get from me while I was at the dealership. Instead of calling me themselves, they pushed it onto James. So when James called, it seemed as though they had an emergency, and the impression I perceived was that I needed to drop everything I was doing and come to the dealership immediately. I stressed that this was highly inconvenient. So Mazda arranged a porter to come to my location to get the contract resigned. The customer service is amazing, and for that reason I would highly recommend this dealer and this dealership! More

I would recommend both James and Andreas - Alden was great during the financing part of the process... which in past experiences has given me a migraine after securing a solid headache from the sales/negotiation process - NOT in this case. All 3 are professional, respectful, and competent. We did visit several other dealerships in the area and received the type of salesmanship that we are "used" to getting when buying a car. These guys are great ... and nobody could come close to the final deal that we got at Walker's Mazda! More
I had surfed the net looking for a 2012 Subaru Impreza and stumbled upon one at Walker's Renton Mazda. It was actually a pretty good price so we decided to head down and take a look. Dreading the visit, I was pretty much surprised when Kris took us right to the car without trying to sell us on any of the other new cars out there on the lot. I know what I wanted, and that was that. Kris, being a "Mazda Guy", knew his Subie facts! Even when he was taking an educated guess, he got them confirmed by the Subaru guys later, confirming he was right in the first place! Anyway, long story short, it was a very pleasant experience - way better than we both expected, and we came away with a great new (to us) car! Thanks Kris! (And thanks Joy with helping on the excellent financing!) More

We went to Walkers earlier this week to purchase a car for my daughter. We found a nice used Mazda 3 and made the purchase. However, the next day my daughter realized that the car did not have power locks for my daughter. We found a nice used Mazda 3 and made the purchase. However, the next day my daughter realized that the car did not have power locks and we returned to Walkers with the concern. The locks were a big deal for her due to the fact that she had just had her previous car stolen which prompted our car search. The first person we contacted was Lori Brown, the finance director, and she immediately took charge of our situation and began exploring options to resolve the problem. She reassured us that my daughter's happiness with her purchase was primary and never made us feel bad for missing the fact that the car did not have power locks. Lori contacted the managers of both the used and new car departments to help us find a solution. We met with several used and new car staff over the course of the next two days and I can honestly say that everyone we met was supportive and helpful. The used car manager even called me on his day off to check on our situation. I can't say enough nice things about the staff that helped us look at other cars that might fit all of my daughters needs. We were treated like friends, which is probably the highest compliment I can give to a business. When we decided to explore new car options, we were introduced to Jan Rac and Andreas Jennings. They were very knowledgeable, excellent to work with, and made the vehicle switch painless. Our experience was such that I can whole heartedly endorse Walker's Renton Mazda. A person typically gets to see the "true colors" of a business or staff when there is a problem or issue that needs solving. Multiple staff went well beyond typical "customer service" and, again, treated us like friends. I'm sure I'll do business with the fine people at Walkers again in the future. More
