1) The Auto I bought: I did a lot of research on the CX-30 .It has all the specs I was looking for and the deal I got and trade in was excellent. The CX 30 is a technological powerhouse. He showed me the CX-30 I was looking for and told me he was new to the auto sales business and in a learning process. I accepted this because I've been there myself. It can be brutal. We both together familiarized ourselves about the features and amenities of the vehicle. I agreed to buying it and when we got down to the paperwork and financing the deal it became very awkward because his learning curve kicked in. I must say he kept up his positivity and enthusiasm. Bravo Trevor. Ar this point a gentleman and senior sales consultant Jerod appeared.. Jerod then took over and did a very attractive deal. I had made Trevor's first sale. I congratulated him and told him he needs to do 3 more sales the next day. 3) Financing: I met Carrie the Finance Manager to 'sign the papers'. She explained the warranties, arbitration, extended warranties, insurance, and legalize of what it means in a clear but rapid pace. I began to think in addition to being a finance manager she was also a sales rep of products and services relevant to an auto purchase. I digested as best I could all this and accepted what I thought was best. A good experience but sort of a brick wall with a timer on your head. 4) Service Department: No experience yet. I ordered some upgrades for the new vehicle and waiting for the parts to come and get a call from the service department for the installation. Take aways: New Sales reps - Be enthusiastic. Be knowledgeable about your products. General environment - Have a little WiFi going on in the dealership and offer your customers beverages. I have to say this dealership is in the process of building a new Mazda Sales and Service Center. Prep and delivery of the vehicle. Do better than a mop on the roof and a hose and clean the windows too. Also check the air in the tires. All 4 on mine each were underinflated. Introduce your new customer to the service and parts departments. All this being said I am giving this dealer 4 stars. More
Incredibly negligent and consistently incompetent service department. Beginning with the first oil change, they have done extraordinary damage to my vehicle. Staff turn over constantly, and are miserable. Cu department. Beginning with the first oil change, they have done extraordinary damage to my vehicle. Staff turn over constantly, and are miserable. Customers get shoved between remaining staff until they leave, then get shoved onto the newbie. Managers take zero responsibility for the department. More
Christian and Chris were beyond professional and extremely knowledgeable about their inventory. We were able to negotiate a fair price for a wonderful vehicle (2015 Mazda3) and I couldn't be happier extremely knowledgeable about their inventory. We were able to negotiate a fair price for a wonderful vehicle (2015 Mazda3) and I couldn't be happier. In fact, Renton Mazda was the only dealership I visited this week that was even willing to negotiate! Every vehicle on their lot was clean and well-maintained. Despite the pouring rain and wind, Christian and Chris graciously showed me around the lot and took extra care. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the used-car market during COVID-19! More

We would hear water moving inside the hatch when taking corners, and water would leak out of the interior hatch handle. We scheduled an appointment with Walker's to have it diagnosed and repaired. Was told it was an issue with the passenger side taillight and we had them fix it. Within a few weeks of that being fixed we noticed the water sound and leaking again. Scheduled a follow-up appointment for 7am, and dropped the car off the night before. After not hearing from Walker's all morning we called at 12pm and talked to a woman who had no idea what was going on with our car and said she'd have someone call us back. At 3pm still nothing, so we call back and they still don't have any update, at this point we tell them we're coming to get the car. A few minutes after that phone call we get a call back from Walker's and we're told the issue is the same thing but on the driver's side this time and that they'll cover the labor cost but the part will be $120. We decided to tell them to hold-off because we were coming to get the car. In person we were told the same thing and shown pictures of what was wrong. I explained that there's no way, based on their pictures, that the damage from the water I'm seeing wasn't there when we brought it in the first time. To me that meant they either didn't fully inspect the hatch the first visit, or that the part they fixed didn't need to be fixed at all. They refused to cover the costs so we decided to take our car and leave. At this point the quality of their work is in question so why reward their incompetence with more of my money. More
I'd like to put in a formal complaint for unsatisfactory service. On 12/30/2019 at 10:30 am I brought in my Mazda 3 for an appointment regarding an issue with breaks that it was recalled for. I spoke service. On 12/30/2019 at 10:30 am I brought in my Mazda 3 for an appointment regarding an issue with breaks that it was recalled for. I spoke with the representative at the desk regarding the issue with my car's rear breaks. He explained to be that he will have my car go through an inspection and let me know what is found, which will take 3 hours. I returned to Mazda 3 hours later. The representative did not know what happened to my car. He couldn't find any paperwork for my car and only found the keys to the car in the same spot that he had placed them in. He said he will mail the paperwork to me at a later time since he was unable to find anything. Afterwords I walked to my car. It had not been washed. It did not have any evidence of work being done on it (no work order number). It was still parked in the exact same spot and way that I left it in. I later called back and asked again for the inspection work order or proof of inspection for the car. At that time the representative asked for my email address and said that he will email it to me, which you can see in the email below. Please look into what happened during that time. I do not feel safe driving the car knowing that it was not properly inspected, especially with issues regarding brakes. I will escalate the complaint further if this will not get resolved as this is putting myself and my family at risk. More

First off we were allowed to test drive several vehicles without the salesperson in the car; making for a less stressful drive and giving us the opportunity to discuss the positive and negatives of the car. A no pressure sales approach and straightforward negotiation was refreshing. Overall we felt valued as a customer and appreciated. More
Deal done, about to sign. Sorry can't sell you the car?? Buyer beware! My daughter and I went into the dealer because they called her for the buyback sale they were having. She had a very specific criteria Buyer beware! My daughter and I went into the dealer because they called her for the buyback sale they were having. She had a very specific criteria for her to consider buying a car, and was honest and open from the start. They kept trying to get her to look at cars out of her price range! Fed up we got up to leave, I drove out but they had my daughters keys so she had to wait. All of a sudden they had "other" cars in her price range that she had not seen. She called me I came back, we looked and finally settled on a car. Back and forth so many times, finally we agreed on price and terms. Takes out down payment and we wait. 45 mins later the sales manager comes to us and makes some excuse that the computers had been down and they were not able to process the downpayment. But that it was a good thing because he could not sell us the car!! The reason he gave was that there were "costs" against the car that were not uploaded in the system but now they were and that the price had changed. "Sorry" and that was that. The sales person Jed Blanco was like I don't know what just happened. HOW can you run a business this way? We have been customers of Walker's Renton since 2015 return customers. I can honestly say I will never stop in there again for any reason, and anyone that asks will hear of the horrible experience we had. I thought once a deal was done, it was just that done!! For this dealer that does not seem to be the case. More
Work not done properly by the dealership I have a 2011 Mazda3 (55K miles) which I took to service at this location 4 weeks back. I agreed to the technician's suggestion to replace brake pads. I have a 2011 Mazda3 (55K miles) which I took to service at this location 4 weeks back. I agreed to the technician's suggestion to replace brake pads. However after that day, I started noticing metallic clanking sound coming from rear along with squealing sound. I took it back 2 times just to be informed that things look good after checking. Finally after taking it to a different dealership they informed me the new brake pads are added in faulty manner. They showed me the brake pads as well which was already eroded at the sides within 4 weeks. Along with this I had to get my shock absorber replaced as well - that was causing the metallic clanking sound which wasn't there before I took it for service at this location. It costed me $1500 overall which I believe is all due to incorrect work done. More
