Hello. My name is Belinda Bowers and I recently leased a new Ford Edge. I came to Walker Ford because a few months prior I had stopped by to take a look at the Ford Explorer and was cheerfully greated by a new Ford Edge. I came to Walker Ford because a few months prior I had stopped by to take a look at the Ford Explorer and was cheerfully greated by a very informative Bill Mansfield. I was "just looking" at that point and even though I informed Bill of this he was still very attentive and answered all my questions. I remembered that when it was time to purchase a new vehicle. Walker Ford was the one and only dealership that I intended on visiting and that was greatly due to Bill and falling in love with the Ford Edge. Upon arriving at Walker Ford I was greated by many wonderful people and went straight for Bill Mansfield. Bill walked my husband and I through the different models of the Edge and the pros and cons of leasing versus buying. To my surprise it was in my best interest to lease a vehicle. Bill let us test drive the Edge and I really did fall in love with it. So now it was time for financing and I was a little nervous because of a forclosure on my credit history and I was also very upside down on my car. After some wheeling and dealing we (Bill, my husband and I)came up with a plan. I was unable to purchase the car that night, but came back the next night to purchase it. I must say that my experience with Bill Mansfield at Walker Ford was the best experience I have had at a dealership. Through all the ups and downs of financing Bill was by my side with encouraging words. I will return to Walker Ford whe the time comes and I will hopefully be able to work with Bill Mansfield again. This salesman was the only person to call me back and actually take the time to give me pricing info. for the car I wanted. He was curtious and patient, with my choosing the right car. I have to say I have bought a lot of cars, but Irene gave me the best experience I have ever had. It was the smoothest car transaction I have ever experienced. She worked with me with the money that I had available and wasn't overly pushy like other sales people. My daughter and I visited several car dealerships looking and it seems they wouldn't hardly even consider us as being serious with the money we had available. They wanted to push different cars on us that we weren't even interested in and we verbally told them ahead of time exactly what we would like. So, we won't be back to those other dealerships. We will definitely be back to Walker as a future customer. I know I will be interested in a new car someday and Walker is where I want to stay as my family car dealership! I also wanted to comment on Harry and how comfortable he made me. Even though I had bought cars before, I wasn't alone then. He introduced me to Tracy and I was able to walk in, pick out the truck and agree on price within an hour. I have dealt with dealers like Lokey Nissan and Countryside Ford. Wow these dealerships drain your energy. Walker ford puts all of them to shame. I could not say enough nice things about walker ford and there team.
