Great Service Experience Had a very difficult (time sensitive) travel situation swiftly and effectively dealt with the fantastic service department at Vorderman. The customer service was exceptional, starting with Abbey and finishing with the crew that fixed my car. I feel very fortunate that my service issue happened in Fort Wayne, as I was treated very well and am confident that the repair was done properly and won't happen again. I would recommend Volderman VW to anyone who would like to feel like an appreciated customer. More

I leased my first VW less than 6 months ago. I nailed a pothole and my tire's sidewall developed a bulge. I took it in thinking I just needed a tire. After further inspection Service determined my car wa pothole and my tire's sidewall developed a bulge. I took it in thinking I just needed a tire. After further inspection Service determined my car was now out of alignment. After the alignment was performed they found the caster was out of adjustment. Larry was very detailed in explaining the how and why and what needed to be done. I contacted my insurance company and they are now working together to correct the problem. I dread spending money, but I do not dread going to the dealership and dealing with these fine people. I have owned many brands of cars and dealt with many dealerships and none compare to Vorderman. Even Bob the driver takes the time to get to know the customers and acknowledges and greets and converses with everybody he meets. More
Vorderman is the best dealership I've ever dealt with. I buy Volkswagens because the sale at Vorderman's is honest with no gimmicks, and the service after the sale is stellar. All of the staff that we have worked with have been outstanding, they listen, keep us informed of progress, and get the job done right the first time. VW's are great cars, but it's the follow-through from the dealership that keeps me coming back. A special comment about Ron Blum is Sales - in my 50 years of car buying, he's the only car salesman I've ever trusted. And to Chad Probst and his crew in the service and parts department - they do it right the first time. More
When I dropped my car off for service I informed the tech to drive the car because the noise only happens between 1500 and 2500 RPMs and to call me to discuss the problem. (This is the 2nd time I have broug to drive the car because the noise only happens between 1500 and 2500 RPMs and to call me to discuss the problem. (This is the 2nd time I have brought the car there for the same noise). A manager calls to inform me that they did not hear any noise. I asked if he drove the car and he said no they lifted it and put the car in N. I told him to drive the car and to call me afterwards to discuss the noise. He called back saying he heard it...finally! I received a call a few days later stating that they could not loocate the problem and were thinking it was the starter or fuel pump. OK...I'm no idiot about cars, but once a starter has started the car its job is finished and would not be the cause. I told the tech NOT to drop my starter...well...long story short, they did and have charged me for the labor, as well as all the labor prior to them driving the car, even after i made myself VERY clear that they needed to drive the car to hear the noise! They kept guessing and played trial and error on my dime. When I spoke to Chad Probst, the service manager, about this issue he basically said, that's they way it goes! REALLY?!?! When your staff does not do as the customer requests, the customet gets charged? This is unethical business practice!!!! More

We had a really nice and pleasant experience at Vordamans when we got our 09 Jetta TDI serviced last week. When we brought our car in they offered us free shuttle ride to anywhere we needed to go and we t when we got our 09 Jetta TDI serviced last week. When we brought our car in they offered us free shuttle ride to anywhere we needed to go and we thought that was a pretty great way of treating customers! We declined the offer because we wanted to go to the showroom and look at all the new models. The waiting room was also in a great location as it was so close to the service bay and showroom. They had tea or coffee to drink if you wanted, and newspapers, magazines and a tv. The cleanliness was highly noticed and appreciated! Thank you More
