This was my first time bringing my car to Volvo Village Danvers and I couldn’t be happier. Rodents chewed through wires on my engine harness and the car had to be towed in. I called to see if they could take it in on short notice, having never serviced my car there before, and they were very welcoming and accommodating. They even worked with my insurance adjuster to get the work approved. Gladys was my service advisor and she was very helpful and communicates well. They ended up needing the other 2 keys to my car, and she had a technician stop by my house on their way home to pick them up! Really great service! I’ll be bringing my car here for any future repairs/maintenance. More
Very poor customer service. A man opened a door and said hello and that was it. We looked at all the cars in the showroom and no came over. I am sorry for anyone who has to deal with the Finance department. They have individuals working there who should not be in customer facing roles. I have never been more disrespected by a individual in my department. They have individuals working there who should not be in customer facing roles. I have never been more disrespected by a individual in my life. Asking standard questions about the buying process, and only about two questions in (less than two minutes) she stormed into the lobby of Volvo and yelled how she cant work with someone like me. Not only was I embarrassed for myself, as I did nothing wrong and am not a difficult person to deal with, I was extremely embarrassed for her. I would never be able to show my face again in that building if I did what she did to me. Completely disrespectful and repulsive. I will not now or in the future do business with this company if they employee people like her. More

Truly terrible purchasing experience. Was buying a uniquely configured car from out of state and had to rely on their salesman’s photos etc. Asked numerous times to send all pictures of s Was buying a uniquely configured car from out of state and had to rely on their salesman’s photos etc. Asked numerous times to send all pictures of scratches, nicks, dents, road rash etc. They just sent me pics of a perfect car and said there’s no damage anywhere. When it arrived, the cad looked 10 years older and more worn than we were led to believe. It wasn’t even detailed properly. Bruce, the sales manager, promised to make it right. He stopped returning calls and emails shortly thereafter. Avoid this dealership. There are good dealerships out there. You don’t have to use these guys. More
I genuinely feel as though this was the worst possible experience we could have had and it swayed us away from purchasing a Volvo because this was the only convenient location near us for service and we k experience we could have had and it swayed us away from purchasing a Volvo because this was the only convenient location near us for service and we knew we never wanted to come back. Our salesperson did not introduce himself and we only later found out his name (Boris) when the car broke down (would not go over 9mph) during the test drive and we had to call the dealership while we were pulled over on the side of the highway to explain what was happening and have troubleshooting assistance. We were told this happens all the time and that it’s because it had been sitting on the lot. We almost got into a couple of accidents during this time and someone tried to run us off the road for going so slow. The car had no fuel at all and was still wrapped in plastic all over the seats. No one walked us through the features or anything and he didn’t offer to come with us on the test drive. Furthermore they lost my husband’s drivers license. We wanted to go home so desperately after this experience but our salesperson couldn’t find the license. Finally he found it and blamed losing it on us. AVOID this place at all costs. We will never ever forget this experience. More

Sales guy (Boris)has very little knowledge about the inventory and wasn't able to answer many questions. Lot of information is confided about the pre-owned cars so one has to be very careful before get inventory and wasn't able to answer many questions. The sales person especially is only behind pushing out the cars no matter what, he don't know anything about the basic Infotainment, navigation and the worst part is he is given the job of selling one of the sophisticated piece of machine which has many elements pivotal to driving.i went to volvo only get a better experience overall but I ended up buying headache at an exorbitant price. Volvo xc60 2018 I purchased not even 2 weeks old already gave me all sorts of stress ,I was pushed back and forth between the dealership and volvo hq newjersey for following up issues regarding display unit which controls most of core functionality of the car and wifi being one of them and auto start stop option which actually not optional but default feature . The wifi connection is erratic may or may not work ,the center display takes a while to boot and sometimes it gets stuck with a blank display. Overall I feel cheated in this deal please very careful before venturing your car buying plans at this dealership More
I purchased a low mileage XC-90 3 years (not from this dealership) from a Volvo dealership that closed. Amongst several quality issues I have had with that car (they have terrible reliability ratings I h dealership) from a Volvo dealership that closed. Amongst several quality issues I have had with that car (they have terrible reliability ratings I have subsequently learned), the AC never really worked and soon became non-existent. I tried multiple times to get it fixed at this dealership and never even got to the point where the issue was diagnosed, let alone fixed. One time a tech told me there was nothing wrong with it. As its the only Volvo dealer remotely close to me I just tried to give it one more shot, the answer $325 to refill the AC, then they diagnose (maybe, although no guarantees and their track record is poor,) then they fix, which may or may not be covered under our extended warranty. I know there millions of very happy Volvo drivers out there, but if you get a bad car (review their reliability ratings before buying) you can get stuck in an expensive time consuming death spiral of bad service and no fixes. This has been hands down the worst car ownership experience I have ever had and I HATE dealing with this particular dealership. More
