I bought my car from Annapolis Cars Volvo last September and was told by the sales rep who is no longer with the dealership that the tires were in good condition. As it turns out, the dealership had replace and was told by the sales rep who is no longer with the dealership that the tires were in good condition. As it turns out, the dealership had replaced one tire that must have been in especially poor condition but all of the other tires were the original ones from when the car was manufactured in 2021. I understand that the tread was at a 5 for the remaining three tirese, so passable, but the factory recommendation on AWD vehicles is to replace all tires at once. I mentioned this when I returned to the dealership earlier this month to have the tires looked at after being told by another Volvo dealership they needed to be replaced not 9 months after I purchased the vehicle. I had been picking up several nails in the tires because they were worn down. When I mentioned this to the sales manager, he ignored it, telling me my tires were fine. It wasn't until the service department found yet another nail in one of my tires while I was there that could not be plugged that he changed his mind and said they actually needed to be replaced. I asked several times if the dealership could at least cover part of the cost of the new tires as I had purchased the car fairly recently and was lied to about the tire condition. I have since went ahead and replaced all the tires on my own. I felt that in my interactions with the sales manager, I was talked over, not really listened to, he raised his voice when I disagreed with him, and then he awkwardly gave me a hug at the end of our discussion which felt very unwanted. Everything else with the car has been great but I would recommend being vigilant with the details when purchasing a pre-owned vehicle from this dealership. More
