Before coming in, I had seen some negative reviews online, but after dealing with them personally, I can honestly say those reviews couldn’t be more incorrect. Evan was professional, honest, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. There was never any pressure, no games, and everything was explained clearly from start to finish. He went above and beyond to answer all my questions and made what is usually a stressful experience actually enjoyable. The entire team at Volkswagen of West Islip treated me with respect and made me feel valued as a customer. It’s rare to find a dealership and salesperson that truly care about customer satisfaction the way they do here. Despite calling multiple times and being assured that the car we were interested in was at the dealer, went this morning to find out that the car had purportedly been sold last night. Of course, they had oth car we were interested in was at the dealer, went this morning to find out that the car had purportedly been sold last night. Of course, they had other cars to show us [!]. The most galling part is that the dealership actually called us this morning to find out when we were coming to look at the car; that they supposedly sold already. This dealership is not honorable or trustworthy. I suggest that you shop elsewhere and do not waste your time with these fools. I left a deposit on a 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan and was called by the sal I suggest that you shop elsewhere and do not waste your time with these fools. I left a deposit on a 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan and was called by the sales agent Greg the next day to pick the car up. I said I needed the final amount due, including the VIN, and I'll be there in 2 days to pick it up. When I called on 4/29 to confirm pick up I was given the run around and heard nothing back until I called a second time. Eventually, a manager named Giuseppe told me he sold and delivered the car to another buyer "accidentally". This was no accident and an intentional sale at a higher profit margin. The salesman then attempted to rewrite history through lies and deceit. Avoid at all costs!!! More
