Yes, I received a text yesterday from your salesperson that actually made the situation worse. According to him, there was already a customer dealing on the car in the days previous to your dealership making the appointment with me to see the car. Why would you have three different people send me texts, e-mail and calls inviting me to see a car from two hours away without giving me that information? Other dealers on cars.com and autotrader indicate "sale pending" on an ad if there is someone seriously interested as a courtesy. He also said the manager was too busy to explain to me what happened. So the salesperson is responsible for the apology? And since when is a manager too busy to apologize himself? That is sort of their job to represent the dealership. There was an entire showroom full of customers who overheard the whole incident, and they saw that your staff did nothing to apologize to me. Your manager looked at me like there was something wrong with me for showing up for my appointment. He still hasn't bothered to apologize. Looking at the Moon dealership network pre-owned inventory, there were at least a dozen other cars I would have bought last Saturday if I had been apologized to, and was offered some consolation for the error. I was simply looking for a quality used car for my son, and would have considered any good solid car with good CR ratings.
