I took my vehicle in for an issue with my infotainment system, wireless charger, and 30k service. The service was completed and radio was updated but the could not replicate the wireless charger problem. system, wireless charger, and 30k service. The service was completed and radio was updated but the could not replicate the wireless charger problem. I left and had to come back not even after leaving by down the street. The technician was good and tried to help as much as he could until we finally found the possible issue. Told me to leave it a few more days so the can call VW support. We went back in to get me back into the loaner for them to tell me they had no loaners after I literally dropped it off not even 20 minutes. What an inconvenience this is caused since apparently they couldn’t get this fixed a first time but I was told I need to call back again two days later to put myself back in line all over again after waiting a couple month just so they can get me into a vehicle while the repair the issue. Been nothing but issues with VW is getting problems solved. Unfortunately this is the nearest location to me considering I have to drive in from almost 50 miles away to service my vehicle. More
I dropped off the vehicle at 0800am. Was told the service which was replacing all four tires would be done by 11am. I received a text stating the dealership didn’t have one of the tire Was told the service which was replacing all four tires would be done by 11am. I received a text stating the dealership didn’t have one of the tires and the new time to completion was now 2-3pm. I arrived around 230pm and was told they were working on replacing the tires. At 3pm I requested a status update and was then told they hadn’t even received the tire they were missing. At 443pm was told they were taking the vehicle for a test drive around the corner and I’d be done within the hour. At 6pm I asked for an update and was told they were done with the test drive. I glanced out the window and saw my vehicle just turn exiting the dealership going on the test drive. I was finally able to leave at 630pm. I found it highly unprofessional to continually lie to the customer via text and verbally. More

I really enjoy the car but not the service and filed a formal complaint for negligence of service and ethics violation. I had an MPI with an oil change had my brakes checked specifically due to the accid formal complaint for negligence of service and ethics violation. I had an MPI with an oil change had my brakes checked specifically due to the accident I had concerns. I asked to receive my report and it stated brakes were great but did not see visually with a video. They also did collaboration on my car due to an accident deer collision. I was out of my car since December body shop had my vehicle and VW-Alamo Heights had my car in February my car was there for about a week. When I received my car later it was vibrating over mph. I called insurance and VW explained they told me to bring it in made arrangements to reopen claim and request rental, etc. I dropped it off Wednesday to David, we had spoken prior to drop off, explained that I reopened the claim to please call USAA because we were on a time clock due to rental being involved I had 4 days to diagnose the vehicle to make sure it was part of the claim. I called once a day with no updates that it was next in line. Thursday\ Friday passed I sent some texts however nothing. I called Friday afternoon, I was told possibly Saturday. No call and no return text Saturday. Monday I called David then explained he was waiting on USAA appraiser to come out. I asked for the number he was calling and in verbatim “call the 1800 number and dial extension 1146” and I did. If you do not know USAA all extension at 6 digits for the claims adjusters. Appraiser and supplements team had no idea or claims adjuster did reserach. Tuesday We got on a 3 way call with David and I was placed on mute to which he laughed and said he had no idea what number he gave me and stated there was no appraiser and he didn’t reach out to USAA once and thought it was funny. I called VW myself after the conversation and spoke with the service manager Ashley she said now all the sudden my vehicle is being diagnosed and a lot of codes were coming but couldn’t explain them because she herself has a hard time understanding the codes. A couple of hours later I received a random MPI video stating that it’s my front brakes and rotors needing to be replaced. No one showed my rotors or brakes. I called for an explanation they said my brakes measured great but my rotors may be warped. I asked how was this missed in less than a month that it would be warped the lady on the phone said she didn’t know but would have someone call me back to explain. 2 hours later the service manager called back and I explained my frustration why would it take so long to diagnose almost 6 days and 5 business days. She explained due to heat under the vehicle which is correct however the avg car would be warped around 60K or early as 20K. Which is common. I did not drive in extreme heated conditions in less than a month. I also only drive in city limits twice a day back and forth from home to work. My car was at 50 which would be around the avg of possible warping but should have been caught at initial inspection if it was warped so I could have taken care of it then while it was in the shop getting the insurance items since I did an oil change, tire rotation, wheel alignment and brake check. Due to the extreme shaking over 50 mph I rarely drove due to fear and safety only when driving necessary when I got the car back while insurance was trying to figure out for a few weeks what they could due to reopen the claim. I expressed my concerns and fears numerous time of safety. So to summarize if I was told during initial it was not part of the accident I would have taken it immediately I did not have my car since December so definitely different circumstances back then. However, now here we are no accountability, constant lies and run around, complete negligence. The fact that the diagnosis took so long for something an MPI could have done was a complete waste of time and energy. This could have been avoided. David lying over the number and Ashley lying over xx codes. More
