RUN! Not just from this dealership, from all Volkswagon products. I have a 2024 Volkswagen atlas. It has had infotainment issues since the day I bought it. The screen goes completely blank, and you cannot control your AC, your heat, your back up camera, radio, etc. Volkswagon corporate will not allow service/warranty to change out the screen as they say they have an update coming, but have no ETA on when the update will be here. Keep in mind this has been happening to me personally since August 2023 and still no software update. I drive around constantly with my AC or heater blasting because I’m unable to control the climate once my screen goes blank. So keep in mind, if it’s cold in the evening and you have your heater on, and come back out in the morning and it’s Houston hot, you are stuck driving around all day with your heater blasting, or until the screen decides to come back on. This happens to me 7 to 10 times per week and lasts anywhere from 3-14 hours each time. Also, when the screen goes blank, I have issues with the auto braking. I was on 290 the other day, and the car slammed on his brakes automatically, without a car in sight. This happens quite a bit. If someone had been behind me, I would’ve been hit. It’s dangerous and ridiculously inconvenient. And It’s becoming more frequent. Volkswagon Cypress acknowledges an issue but refuses to buy back the car. The most irritating part is that they are still selling this product full well knowing there is a defect in the software. They do not tell you about it, you do not sign any sort of disclosures prior to purchasing. I’ve been told by sales and service, that this is happening to all of the 2024 atlas models. More

First, I recommend you call their main phone number and experience your call going to a voicemail box which is full with no option other than to hangup. That should be all the warning anyone needs. Their staff seems to have rotating titles. The reviews here that are three, four and five must have gone to a different dealership. Go sit in their customer waiting area and listen to the complaints. This dealership is so bad it is almost laughable. I did not finance the purchase but they managed to have the title issued incorrectly. Since they do not answer phone calls I had to make another trip to get that fixed. On the upside I do like the GTI and it will never see this dealership again. More
Yes, If I could give a negative star response, I would (Google will not let you post zero stars). Where to begin with the dishonest, unethical, and unprofessional salesman and some of the managers I tried (Google will not let you post zero stars). Where to begin with the dishonest, unethical, and unprofessional salesman and some of the managers I tried to deal with...yes we purchased a vehicle here, but will never ever purchase another from this dealership. I do realize that in this day and age in Houston, customers come and go, and you are also willing to brush off / blow off customers concerns and twist long-distance negotiations around to complete the sale and still survive in your business. Our "journey together" isn't over yet and I will find other means to get your attention. Make the trip to another Volkswagen Dealership in Houston where you should be able to believe you are working with and honest salesperson that you can trust to do the right thing. More
Scheduled service on Saturday to replace a tire, oil change and get state inspection before my daughter heads out of state to college. i only came to the dealership because they said they would do all change and get state inspection before my daughter heads out of state to college. i only came to the dealership because they said they would do all 3. When I arrived I was told there is no inspector on site and they can’t do the inspection. Then I receive a call saying I have 2 codes for an oil leak and gas cap leak (had just purchased a new replacement cap due to original being stolen off the car), and the cost would be 1175 for everything (including 199 for diagnostics and original quote). There was a check engine code but I was previously told it was due to the after market battery that was installed prior to the last oil change. I reluctantly agreed because I need to pass emissions testing by this weekend and can’t with the codes. I was told the car would be ready by noon on Monday. Monday night I get another call to tell me the car won’t be ready until noon on Tuesday so they will waive the 199 diagnostic fee. Tuesday I get a call (after leaving messages) that the car still isn’t ready. Today, I get a call that the car is ready and the codes are gone so it will pass emissions. So I call to remind them that they were going to do the test for me. I’m then told that they can’t because we need to drive it 200 miles first and my total cost is over 1200, which is more expensive than the quote that included the diagnostics, that was supposed to be waived. When asked why, I was told because of the oil change. This should have been part of the quote provided when they called to get authorization for the 2 additional services performed. I honestly don’t think there were any leaks, they had no plans to do the emissions, and they are a bunch of shady liars. I will NEVER use them again.! More

This place is a scam! !! Took my Volkswagon Atlas in to have a new battery programmed. Willy Velasquez, in the service department had me pay him 50$ thru Zell because I al !! Took my Volkswagon Atlas in to have a new battery programmed. Willy Velasquez, in the service department had me pay him 50$ thru Zell because I already installed the battery myself and it's 90$ to install and program. Told me "just take care of the technician". I did, and I'm pretty sure they took my money and did not program the battery. Willy brought me paper work twice with another cars information on it showing the diagnostic. Two weeks later I had I called the service manager to let him know about the situation because my car had a bunch of warning lights come on in the dash. The service manager had Willy call me back to set up another appt. I brought it in and this time they told me I had the wrong battery. Now I have spent 500$ on two batteries because I couldn't take the first one back and still have to get the new one programmed and pay 90$. I have tried leaving a voicmail for the general manager twice and his mail box is always full and never in the office. Worst experience I have ever had at any dealership. On top of that, they send you a text after asking to contact Bj Jones if you didn't have an exceptional experience. Wouldn't you know, his mailbox is full also. More
About a month ago I purchase a new 2023 Taos for my wife to drive our grandchildren around. We are very happy with the car; however, the salesman at VW Cypress (Mr. Oliver Johnson) included in the Purchase to drive our grandchildren around. We are very happy with the car; however, the salesman at VW Cypress (Mr. Oliver Johnson) included in the Purchase Agreement the “VW Drive Easy” package ($6,400) that I very clearly and several times (several times because he kept insisting on it) told him I was not interested at all. Someway he managed to squeeze the package in the price I paid, against my will. The following day I noticed this irregular situation and I immediately went to the dealership and after a very sour discussion with Mr. Oliver, that solved nothing, I requested to talk to the manager. Mr Mason Bass came and in a very decent way he proposed to correct the situation and compensate me by reducing the number of payments in my credit from 72 to 58, which is fully acceptable to me. The problem is that this verbal agreement with Mr. Mason took place 4 weeks ago and when I received my loan details in the VW Credit app nothing was corrected. I have been 3 times to the dealership (45 mins away from my house) and every time I go, I get promises that they will refund me, that they will change the terms… every time is a different story so I am convinced they will not change anything and this is making my wife and me very frustrated. So we are planning our next steps with the help of a lawyer More
I should’ve read the reviews on VW Cypress before I even went there. Went to see about getting a Taos on their 2023 overstock sale where it was advertised that you get $4000 off MSRP discount. Sounded too went there. Went to see about getting a Taos on their 2023 overstock sale where it was advertised that you get $4000 off MSRP discount. Sounded too good to be true. I said I’ll pay cash and they went to ‘go figure out a good deal’ I was told. Came back and told me the selling price would be $2000 more if I bought the car cash compared to buying it through their financing program. They told me that cash is not king and those days are gone and you get your $4000 discount through using their financing. Basically manipulating me into debt making you pay more than what you have to and want to. In the end the selling price was MSRP and NO discount with financing. Is it even legal to manipulate a customer that way when it wants to pay cash? The salesman Akiiki Rogers was more concerned about his 5 star review when I go do the review for VW. There was another guy I think his name was Matt. Something about them bothered me the way they talk to you and then a silence because they don’t have anything else to offer. It was like a ‘my way and nothing else’ attitude toward me. I paid the principle when the first statement came in even before it was due. Saved me more than $6000 in interest. Seems like cash is still king. I would give them a zero star rating but you can’t if you want to post a comment. Those people there are only out to rip you off and that dealership should be closed down. They give VW a very bad name. More
