My service experience started with three days of automated answering machines asking me to leave a message and they would get back to me. I insisted they take the car the next day and do electrical dionostics. They did and when I picked up the car they told me that a harness had rusted and needed to be replaced. The bill would be $1200. They ordered parts. I waited. Another 4 or 5 days and no update. Drove back and the invoice for the part was at the service desk. When I questioned why there was no harness on the list I was told they fixed the ground wire instead. The parts were a rusted fill tube that was needing replaced. Oddly the bill is still $1200. It would be another 10 days before I could get the work done. Asked to talk to the service manager and he gave me a raft of excuses about how understaffed he was he went back to his office an ignored me. A man at the desk now couldn’t find the parts order. The third visit went a little better. The manager seemed to want to help find the parts and promised to call me day to tell me wether or not they found the parts. NOTHING AGAIN. The manager told me on my next trip to drop it off Thursday and maybe they can get it done by Friday. The next morning at seven thirty I dropped the car off with a counter guy named Brad. At first he wanted a week to work on it. I told him of his manager’s promise so he looked in the schedule and there was nothing. He scheduled the worked and I left. By 5:30 he called and said it was done. He was very anxious to please me. I went back down to pick up the car and was out in a few minutes. More
Service dept is awful. I was contacted to schedule an appointment for a recall. I took car in on scheduled date, and never got a call. Went in at 5:30 PM only to be told that they need to order the part and it is on back order. They should have let me know that when the appointment was scheduled to save me a wasted trip. I had to take a day off without pay, and now when the part comes in I have to do it again! More
