This visit was set up for normal service on my 2010 GMC truck. I also mentioned a problem that I had been having since the truck was new with always needing to run the defroster on full to keep the window truck. If I tried to put heat on my feet, the windows would fog. The service rep was able to find a service bulletin related to the problem and they were able to correct the problem by reprogramming the computer. The truck is a real pleasure to drive now. In the past I had actually dealt with the other service department at that location associated with Saturn, and EVERY time (4 times) my service would take 3+ days, require me to get a rental, require a par department at that location associated with Saturn, and EVERY time (4 times) my service would take 3+ days, require me to get a rental, require a part to be overnighted and I would have to pay an extra $25, and I even had to bring the vehicle back for the same problem. This time around, I felt very confident even when I dropped the car off that it would be taken care of. The service department kept me apprised of what was going on, and it only took a night to get everything fixed. And I was given a rental car, at no charge where I would otherwise had to pay the previous times. Lastly, it was recommended to me to get my brakes changed, and it was done in such a non-pushy fashion, that I actually wanted to get them done by your dealership. And it only added a few more hours onto my vehicle's stay. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience and will recommend to others that if they are looking for a dealership for service, they should go to Bob Hastings Buick GMC. More
