I started going to this service dept when the saturn service shut down & they reccommended that use bob hastings. Always treated well and no one in Rochester does better, more reliable service than Hastings. We have been dealing with Hastings for over 40 years. I went in for a scheduled oil change on my Saturn because of the Saturn incentives on service. I was planning to be driving out of state, and wanted to make sure everything was okay. The service department identified a major problem, and although the department was very busy that day, the dealership managed to repair my car the same day so I could be on the road - safely - as planned. I came to the dealership for the first time, having gone to the Saturn service center next door in the past. I explained an issue with my middle seat not moving properly and demenstrated it to the service t to the Saturn service center next door in the past. Later that afternoon he assured me that it was fixed but that I should continue to lubricate it with dry silicone spray and periodically vaccum the track it slid on. Well, the seat did not glide any easier than when I dropped it off that morning and after trying his suggestions there was little improvement. Got a vibe of forced friendlessness both at beginning and end of the transaction. I will give them another chance (maybe everyone was in a bad mood that day?) but can't endorse going there for service after my first trial. More

As usual, the service was great! The simple oil change was performed, and in checking the car out, a nail found in one of the tires and of course repaired. This prevented an extra trip to have it fixed, or worse a flat tire out on the road. The billing clerk applied Prefered Customer credits, so our bill was reduced accordingly.
