I sincerely believe that this service department is crooked and what happened with my vehicle today was deliberate and intentional. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change ONLY--declined other servic crooked and what happened with my vehicle today was deliberate and intentional. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change ONLY--declined other services discussed (specifically, tire sensor replacements and tire rotation). When I got there, I had three sensors working and functional with only one not working. When my vehicle was returned to me, none of the sensors worked.. not one! I spoke to two technicians--one was not very friendly about the matter while the other one was. However, he advised me that when they do a tire rotation, that if one of the sensors is out, then that will cause the rest of them not to work because they would have to be "relearned" or something to that effect. The problem is that I specifically requested that they NOT rotate my tires at all. Then, when I mentioned this to the technician, he said if it wasn't on the paperwork then they would not have rotated my tires. So, now we are back to my initial question. If my tires were not rotated & then why is it that none of my sensors work now? Also, this did not happen during my last visit a few months ago. The same ONE sensor was out while the remaining three were still working. When I got my car back, it was the same as it was when I dropped it off. Why is it different this time? It should not be. I should have three sensors still working. The reason I believe it was deliberate because this is the 2nd time the advisors have been trying to get me to change ALL the sensors as opposed to just the one, stating it makes things a bit "difficult" to only change the one. Each time, I specifically communicated to the advisor that I simply cannot afford to do them all right now. So, now that none of my sensors are working, it makes me feel that they deliberately messed with my tires somehow (rotation or something else) to try to force me to have to get them all fixed. With all the rising costs, doing so is not in my budget at the moment. I had planned to get them taken care of as soon as I could afford to, but now I have to travel while not feeling completely safe since I can no longer monitor my tire pressure via the sensors. I have submitted my grievance to management and will await a response. Until then, they have lost a customer. More
Had a service appointment for January 8th. Dropped off in the afternoon of the 7th. My car sat outside for six days before they even got it in. I received no communication from the service Dropped off in the afternoon of the 7th. My car sat outside for six days before they even got it in. I received no communication from the service department. My text message, email, phone messages, all ignored. When they finally got my car in, I was quote $1100 to drain my fuel tank. What a bunch of crooks. I wouldn't let them service my weedwhacker. I'm actually a 24 year Chevrolet Dealer myself and I'm just amazed that they run their business this way and are able to remain open. Don't let yourself live a bad dream. There are plenty of other choices. Any of them would likely be better than these clowns. More

I made sure to ask questions like the deductible is $200 and I pay nothing else that’s it. Yep that’s it… Well nope that’s not it!! I have to pay for the $200 deductible and 50% of the repair total cost. I trusted Dan and Victory Layne as I was once employed here. I thought they would take better care of me than they did. But nope they just wanted to rip me off. Also on another topic. I paid $42,000 out the door for this truck. Now this truck is worth $18,000. In 3 years. I can live with getting ripped on the truck cause I know that’s how they do it here. I didn’t think they would screw me on the warranty! Don’t think cause the warranty company is Ally that they got your back. Don’t trust them even if it’s your brother. More

Funny because I was actually looking to trade it for a newer one. They made that decision for me. More

Here is an update for those lifetime Chevy lovers like myself, thinking of going to Victory Layne Chevrolet. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. After five days, I still have no one communicating with me r myself, thinking of going to Victory Layne Chevrolet. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. After five days, I still have no one communicating with me regarding the service I need to repair the latch on my driver's door, no estimate of cost, and no appointment for service. I originally took the car to the dealership, and an agent told me the service would involve two separate visits. The first visit, costing me $150, would require the technician to tear apart the door and ascertain which internal mechanical parts needed replacing. The second visit, after they obtained the parts, would require the technician once again to tear apart the door, then make the repairs-essentially gouging me on the price and the labor. I refused. My car is a well maintained classic 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT. All that is needed is the classic door latch (I provided a photo) and the standard inner door mechanism. The labor should not require any competent technician more than two hours to install. Victory Layne apparently makes its corporate millions by gouging the fine elderly citizens of Ft. Myers who, unlike myself, know nothing about car repairs and simply pay the inflated prices. We the People deserve better, considering there must be half a million car dealerships in Florida alone, from which we can choose to spend out money. Ever notice how dealerships act like they are doing us a favor when we approach them for assistance or service? And how we should automatically trust their opinions and offers when they claim to present us with the best deals? It's all a bunch of xx, people, in case you haven't learned that by now. In the past five days, I've not met such arrogant, condescending people like this in many years. I'll keep you updated. More
