I took my 2013 Chevy Cruze into the dealership because it was leaking a red watery fluid on the garage floor. The service guy John left me a message that it was the turbo pipe leaking. So I did my homework a was leaking a red watery fluid on the garage floor. The service guy John left me a message that it was the turbo pipe leaking. So I did my homework and called him back. He told me it will be $850 to fix it. I said for a $30 part and a half hours of work? He said no it calls for 3 1/2 hours. So I asked how much is your labor, he said $135 an hour and I said what the parts are $250 he said yes.He said do you have a Costco card we will take $140 off. I said go ahead and do it. So it came to $718.19. When we picked the car up my wife was rushing to work she said the minute she started the car the check engine light was on so the next morning right after work she took it back. John the service guy called me and said there was no problem there was just a wire left unhooked so we hooked it back up at no charge. I said that’s good, thank God it was nothing major. I was ready to say goodbye and all of a sudden out of the blue‘s he said you know the car is leaking a substantial amount of oil. I couldn’t believe it I told him we took it in for the minor fluid leak and now you tell me it’s leaking oil it has never leaked oil. So I immediately went out to the garage and took pictures of the red watery fluid and there is no oil on the garage floor. He said I have my mechanics checking it out now and supposedly they fixed it. Now I have noticed I have engine oil leaking all over my garage floor which I also took pictures of. At this point I am really afraid to take my car back to them I don’t know if this is something they have deliberately done to get more money out of me or what? I have been advised to go directly to the attorney general state of California national division of consumer affairs which is what most people should do with similar problems. More
