3 Strikes and You Are Out Went to Veterans to buy an Internet Special Ford Edge that was posted on their website. I had communicated with the sales guy via email for 2 days as he gathered information and we finally set an appointment. I had sent him the stock number of the vehicle in question so he was well aware of what I was interested in as well as the price point. When we arrived we found out the following and the strikes against the dealer started to mount up. 1. The Ford Edge I wanted was located in Orlando not at the current dealer even though the dealer specific site showed it as in stock. 2. The Internet special was really a bait and switch as it was a 2016 model and I was told they could not sell it due to outstanding airbag recalls. I was fine looking at the 2017 model so we did that but they price they presented was off by 4k in discounts and when I questioned he said the internet special pricing included some grad and first responder discounts that didn't apply but the web shows those as being off the Internet special price, not included. The appraised my Shelby GT500 and gave me a LOW BALL trade value that they would not budge on. I had done my research prior and new what the range on trade was yet they offered me like $200 more than auction pricing. This was the third strike and we asked for my key back so that we could head home. They came back with one more offer that was still about 3500 off of where we needed to be on a drive out and we left. The sales guy said they were going to make some calls and he would call me back in a few days - they wanted to try and sell my Shelby for a higher price to make the deal happen. I haven't heard a word from him since and it has been 6 days now. Yesterday I bought an Edge at Port Richey Ford and got $5100 more on my trade in than Veterans offered as well as a lower interest rate on the financing than what they had secured at Veterans. If you want to shop at Veterans, be wary of the website and what it shows for in stock and for pricing. Also if you want a trade in just sell it yourself or hit another dealer instead More

The Epitome of Customer Service This was my first time dealing with an American car dealership. I have personally dealt with Acura, Audi, BMW, Honda, Lexus, Infiniti, Mitsubishi, Nis This was my first time dealing with an American car dealership. I have personally dealt with Acura, Audi, BMW, Honda, Lexus, Infiniti, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, and Toyota Dealerships. To top it off my wife used to work for Honda so I have an idea of how the process should work. I could not have asked for a better experience. Aaron Scheible contacted me within minutes of reaching out via website, he set me up with Sean Bergen. Sean was a pleasure to deal with, he was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all and any questions we had. My wife and I felt right at home after just being at the dealership for 10 minutes. When time came to finish the deal David Griffith was awesome. David walked us through all our options and continued the outstanding service that Aaron had started. All 3 of these guys are top notch, there are a lot of dealerships that could take notes on how to treat their customers. I highly recommend anyone looking for a Ford or even cross shopping a Ford to stop by Veterans Ford. I promise you, you will not be disappointed! Thanks again! More

Service Department needs to work on communication I dropped off my truck at 8 am with the assurance that it was a 1/2 day repair. When I heard nothing by 4pm, I called to see what was going on. I was passed around to two different people and put on hold for over 10 minutes while they were trying to figure out what the status was on my truck. Finally they admitted that they hadn't even started on it and it would be ready in an hour. When I questioned why I hadn't been contacted to let me know what was going on, I was told that it was just one of those days... When we arrived to pick up my truck, they couldn't get their check approval machine to work and I waited another 15 minutes. After all that, I got in my truck and the warning light was still on. They hadn't even double checked it to see that all the repairs had been completed properly. They took my truck back in and fixed it so by now it was well past 6:30 pm. I complained to the manager and he explained that they were so busy and short-handed. I asked him why he didn't let us know that it was a busy day for repairs (we would have rescheduled) and he had no answer for that. We had plans to go out that night, hired a baby-sitter but by the time we got home it was so late we had to cancel our plans (but still pay the baby-sitter). We were contacted by the customer service department to find out how our service had been and I explained everything to her but no accommodations were offered, not even a call from the manager to apologize. Minutes after my post I received a phone call from the Sales person Tony U wanting to know the issues we were having. We layed out all the issues we were having to him. He assured us that we would be getting a call the next day from the General Manager Lorenzo Pena. I did receive a call and Mr Pena we discussed the issues and what I wanted them to do for us and we came to an agreement, So I am retracting my poor review Mr. Pena stepped up and made this ordeal right you can't ask for more then that. Thank you Lorenzo and Veterans Ford. We bought a used Dodge Ram from this dealership yes I know used is a gamble but they swore they checked it over and was very sound.we found out that instead of checking things out they just cleared codes and said everything was fine. when we test drive this truck we noticed that the AC wasn't blowing very cold out the drivers side vents we were ready to walk away but the manager Mr. Pena came over and said no we will fix this issue and we will Change the oil and will deliver it to you the following Monday. We have had the truck for a month and the AC WAS NOT FIXED the oil was NOT changed and we got charged for them bringing it to us via the Vetrans expressway. Also the deal we struck was x amount of money tax tag and title out the door well we got our tag and for some reason it expires in December which is no where near either mine or my husbands birthday which is when tags expire in the State of Florida. Horrible Customer Service! I had to schedule my service appointment with the service manager because after a week of leaving messages for my service advisor no one returned my c I had to schedule my service appointment with the service manager because after a week of leaving messages for my service advisor no one returned my call. Made arrangements with the service manager to have my vehicle dropped off the night before my appointment date so it can be done first thing in the morning. I was told it would only take an hour to complete the job, but when I called at noon to pick up my vehicle it wasn't even looked at yet! Spoke to the service manager and he tried to put the blame on me saying he was sorry I misunderstood him! I picked up my vehicle at 3pm when it should have been ready at 9:30am. The service was covered by the dealership because it was the third time with the same issue and when I picked it up they wanted me to pay a $56 deductible! Really?!? I lost a day of work and was waiting around all day for something that should have taken and hour and you want to charge me?!? This was not the first time I had issues with the service department. The previous time I was there, to have my dashboard screen replaced they cracked the console around the dashboard screen and they tried to tell me it was there when it brought it in! I will never go back to this dealership, I've given them way too many chances and they have failed miserably! More
Above and Beyond Brian Ziegler and "Radio Brian" did an in depth review of what was wrong with my Sync system. It took a few hours to do so and although I did not like Brian Ziegler and "Radio Brian" did an in depth review of what was wrong with my Sync system. It took a few hours to do so and although I did not like the results that they found, they did not charge me for doing the diagnosis (which I understand is quite expensive). They were very thorough and super polite about it and seem to be willing to help me lobby with Ford to help get the problem fixed.
