I sent my girlfriend down to Vandergriff Honda to pick out a car and I was going to join her later. Heather had never bought a car before and was very intimidated by the process. we hade already been looking at getting a Honda Fit for some time, but had not wanted to get one until after the first of the year. I had told her she could pick out anything on the lot that she liked, new or used. Granden (GT) met her at the door and gave her first class treatment all the way, treating her like she had rolled in there with money falling out of her pockets. I should add that she went to the dealership on her moped! GT showed her all of the Honda Certified Preowneds on their lot as well as the new Fits. Heather selected a 2012 Fit, which was the next to cheapest thing on their lot. GT never put any pressure on her to consider the several more expensive Fits they had in inventory. He treated this very timid first time car buyer like his own little sister. When I arrived, they were about to leave for a test drive. GT continued to be very patient with Heather, answering all of her questions and making her totally at ease. All in all, a very enjoyable car buying experience for Heather, a first time buyer. Jessica responded to my emails very quickly, and when I showed up for a surprise visit, she paired me up with Matt Davis. Matt took me out driving before we even got into paperwork and it was a very low-pressure setup. We didn't hit my target payment with my first choice of car, so he found me a better deal in a smaller car but was fully loaded! They played with numbers to get things just the way I wanted and listened to everything I had to say. No doubt I'll be back, and will be recommending Matt specifically and the whole team at Vandergriff Honda. More
