My boyfriend had the same experience as most of the people who wrote reviews. A week ago to this day, my boyfriend traded in his Audi for a Toyota Tacoma. The salesman quoted him a price and let him people who wrote reviews. A week ago to this day, my boyfriend traded in his Audi for a Toyota Tacoma. The salesman quoted him a price and let him take the truck home so I could see it. When we got back to the dealership, the salesman said he had made a mistake and quoted us a new price which was higher than the first. The interest rate was ridiculous. However, my boyfriend really loved the truck so he was willing to pay a little more than what he had expected. Then on Monday, he gets a phone call from someone named Tony who told him that he needed to come in to sign some paperwork, but he wouldn't say what the paperwork was. My boyfriend told him he wouldn't be able to make it up there until Wednesday. On Wednesday, like clockwork, Tony calls again about the "paperwork" they need signed. When my boyfriend arrived at the dealership today they told him that they were raising his interest rate by 6 points because of something that had to do with the bank. My boyfriend told them no way and asked for his Audi back. However, these people obviously don't understand what the word "No" means because after speaking to one of their finance guys, Chris, and telling him that he couldn't do it, they brought in another guy to try and convince him that he should just go ahead with the higher interest rate. Finally, after an hour of going back and forth with the people at the dealership, they finally gave him his keys to his Audi and he left. I think because we are a young couple, they thought they could take advantage of us. These are the kind of dealerships who give salesman a bad name. More

The worst car buying experience I have ever had. I walked in, test drove a few vehicles, found the one I wanted, told them I wanted it, asked about price, then Paul gets up and leaves for 30 minutes a walked in, test drove a few vehicles, found the one I wanted, told them I wanted it, asked about price, then Paul gets up and leaves for 30 minutes and I have to go find him to continue our discussion. At that point, he blows me off again with some BS story about having to help out his manager, so I wait a few more minutes and then walk out. What kind of gift do you want in a customer? Someone who explicitly expresses a strong interest in buying that day, and then gets a walk-off from the sales guy? What a joke. They lost my business, and I went to another dealer and bought the same car that day. I'll never go there again thanks to Paul. More

PLEASE AVOID THE HASSEL AND RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!! I PLEASE AVOID THE HASSEL AND RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!! I cannot express to you enough how horrible my experience was at this place. First off they lie ab PLEASE AVOID THE HASSEL AND RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!! I cannot express to you enough how horrible my experience was at this place. First off they lie about the price. You ask for the "drive out price" and they give it to you, you come in to the dealership and all of a sudden you have $3,ooo in extras (tint, door guards, floor mats). I didn't want those I stated to Clair and she told me she couldn't take off the tint. I mean come on....how rude! Tried to give me $9,000 on my trade in Honda Civic LX, well below kelly blue book for a trade in. They were rude and every time I said no to a price would get huffy and disappear. I was there for hours. Needless to say I left. First thing this morning I called their competitor and by lunch was in the new car I wanted. They lost my business and I am hoping they will not gain yours. I am telling you, RUN! If I wasn't in such a hurry I would go into more detail but, it's almost unbelievable really. Just slimy, liars! This got worse and worse and she would not give me my keys back. I asked for them back ELEVEN times. I told her manager I felt like a prisoner. They still didn't get them back to me. I then got on the phone with my bf who said just call the cops and tell them. I then got the keys back. They lost my business and I am hoping they will not gain yours. I am telling you, RUN! If I wasn't in such a hurry I would go into more detail but, it's almost unbelievable really. Just slimy, liars! And if you are a women, educate yourself very well as I did, otherwise they get little know it all women to be your sales adgent....she was so many things I cannot say here. She should be ashamed. Feel free to contact me with questions. I will be writting a formal letter to Honda about this dealership. NO TO VANDERGRIFT! More
My mom bought her 2005 Honda Accord there and didn't speak highly of them because tried sneaking some charges past her and she said they were low life type people. But she said I should go out there be speak highly of them because tried sneaking some charges past her and she said they were low life type people. But she said I should go out there because they were having a huge tent sale that combined like 5 dealers inventory. When I went out there the sales man I had was alright and I saw a 2005 Acura TSX I liked. I test drove the vehicle and considered purchasing it but since I had outside financing I told them I didn't have my check with me. My salesman was going to cool enough to put the car on hold for about 2 hours until I came back; but his manager wouldn't let him and he brought him over to me. Tony the used car sales manager informed me that they couldn't do that and if I liked the car he needed a personal check for the price of the car until I came back(very pushy). I decided not to buy the car and went home; it's outrageous that he wanted a personal check from me just to put the car on hold for 2 hours. The car was in great condition but it had close to 80,000 miles on it. I went back the next day and decided I was going to buy it. I told a new sales person that I had outside financing I wanted to use but he said he guaranteed he could get me a better interest rate by .5%. In order to get that better rate he made me sign a piece of paper with the 2 rates. He even told me that if I wasn't approved that the salespeople have a handful of favors from finance they can pull out, and that he would use one of his favors on me if that was the case. So I reluctantly gave him the info he needed and he came back and said he could they couldn't beat it and to use the finanxing I already had. The fact that he lied to me and wasted like 30 minutes of my time pissed me off. I decided I was still going to buy the car and told my mom and aunts who were on vacation what kind of car I was getting and the mileage. Once I told them that they said it wasn't that good of a deal even though it was below Kelly BB the mileage was too high. I did change my mind and I told the finance guy who then called my salesperson who came back and told me I was cheap and wasting his time and that I should go to other dealers to get the prices I told him I could get at other places. Practically yelling at me the entire time. So later that night I went to Goodson Acura and found an even better car with less miles for a comprable price. xxxx VANDERGRIFF HONDA and anything Vandergriff for that matter. More
I owned a 2003 Honda Pilot that I had purchased from another dealer. However I was getting tired of the gas prices. (The V6 guzzled gas like water...) I went to the dealership in look of a new 2007 vehi another dealer. However I was getting tired of the gas prices. (The V6 guzzled gas like water...) I went to the dealership in look of a new 2007 vehicle. I originally looked at the civic, but I was so upside down in my loan that the sales man urged me to look at an Accord because they hold thier value better. I was a little nervous, because I was worried about price. Our test drive of both the civic and accord was a pleasant experience, non pushy and very relaxed. When we got back to the dealership the salesman brought us back to his office and we discussed a deal. They did roll my payoff into the new loan, everything was explained upfront. I felt as thought that was the type of customer service I was looking for. I never felt forced, however I did feel encouraged to consider the Accord for the reasons they explained to me. My wife and I prefered the Accord anyway, due to the quality of the interior. We drove away in a new 2007 Accord with all our questions answered and were smiling! I love this dealership and would recommend it to anyone I know. They told me yes when other dealer said NO! That is a big deal. They even got me finanaced throught Amercian Honda Finance, something no other dealership could do, they waned to try a place me with no name or smaller banks ( I felt uncomfortable with that) They also reduced the interest rate that I had on my previous vehicle. I couldn't as for more! As far as the price, I feel like I could have gotten more for my trade, but according to Kelly Blue Book values, it was very fair to the market, and that was good. I didnt have to fight to not get the digisheild, or the tinted windows that I didn't want, I just got on straight off the truck! I am a very satisfied customer More
I brought a used car there and the air cond. did not work at the time and the car had a lot of wind noise at the back door. They could not fix the wind noise and he told me the air cond. was like that on the at the time and the car had a lot of wind noise at the back door. They could not fix the wind noise and he told me the air cond. was like that on the car for the gas milage (Save GAs) and I took the car back again and said that the air cond. was not right.I got my car back and was not hot enough to run the air so I found out in May on a trip the blower would not blow when it was real hot. I told them in July and they said it will cost me 1150.00 just for the part to fix the car. and the warranty that I paid 2000.00 did cover the car bumper to bumper as they told me.So Now I have a car in texas with a air cond. that blows after the car has cool down in the afternoon. No one at the dealer will take care of this problem and they told me basicly it is my problem since the saleman is no longer at the dealership. More
