I have bought three Hondas from Vandergriff Honda over the last ten years and each time I have been very pleased with the process. My husband and I had a limited amount of time before our dinner reservations so we thought we would just pop in and see what selection of Honda Pilots Vandergriff had available. We had just had a negative e dinner reservations so we thought we would just pop in and see what selection of Honda Pilots Vandergriff had available. We had just had a negative experience with another local Honda dealer and wanted to see if it was a general overall attitude as this was the first time we had shopped for a Honda. We were very surprised at the expedient way Ariel was able to get a vehicle for us to test drive. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and went out of his way to accomodate us. He even showed us interior and exterior colors that we were not aware was available due to the lack of service we received at the previous Honda dealership. The exterior and interior color combination we wanted was available so Ariel brought Clyde, the Sales Manager, straight over to us to discuss pricing. With the many vehicles we have purchased in the past, this was the first time the Sales Manager voluntarily came and greeted us from the initial pricing step, another pleasant surprise. He was eager to satisfy us so he asked up front what it would take for us to drive the vehicle home that night. We restated that we had dinner reservations and only had an hour so it would have to wait until later in the week. He challenged us to give him a shot so we named our price for the vehicle, named the price we wanted for our trade, and defined our finance rate and terms. In less than 15 minutes he laid down an agreement that included everything we wanted, there was no need to negotiate. We once again stated that there was no way to get the financing portion completed that night due to our reservations and once again he challenged us to give it a try. Much to our surprise the financing was completed in under 30 minutes and we drove away to arrive at our anniversary dinner right on schedule. The whole experience took less than an hour. This was truly an experience that we will remember and speak of for many years to come. They have definitely won a new set of loyal customers! We are still laughing about the whole experience in amazement. More
