Vandergriff Honda

I absolutely hate buying a new car and dealing with "dealership" people. That is what we got 2 years ago at Vandergriff Honda when we bought our 2010 CRV. Well, my wife and I decided to try them again "dealership" people. That is what we got 2 years ago at Vandergriff Honda when we bought our 2010 CRV. Well, my wife and I decided to try them again with this purchase and see if things had changed. If they hadn't changed we both agreed we would walk out very quickly in the process. WOW, I just got home with a brand new 2012 Civic and boy has Vandergriff made some changes!! Everyone was very helpful and it didn't take all day and into the night like most dealers. Asheed Graves did a fantastic job showing us the vehicle and working with us on the price. Hung Nguyen in finance got us in and out quickly. The car was clean, full of gas and ready to drive away in a matter of minutes. Great job guys!!!!! This is the way it should be done!!!! More

I hate buying cars but Vandergriff makes it so easy. Yuni laid out the best price which was very agreeable to me. I had done tons of research with other dealers. I gave this dealership this rating because compared to ALL the other dealerships Vandergriff was more friendly and professional. I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of. I went in to purchase a 2012 Civic and as soon as I got off of the car I was immediately taken inside by Marcus. He took my information and asked me how much I wanted my car payment to be and from that sec off of the car I was immediately taken inside by Marcus. He took my information and asked me how much I wanted my car payment to be and from that second on he kept trying to push me into a used car. I explained to him that I wanted to purchase a new car and not a used one so he got up and walked out and sent another guy in (I didn't catch his name). The new salesman then tried to push a used car on me and I had to explain AGAIN that I did not want a used car, I wanted a new one. I told him that I didn't understand why they were so unwilling to show me a new car and he told me that he'd show me one but that I was going to be upset when they come back and the payment is no where near where I wanted it to be. He then left and Marcus returned to tell me AGAIN that the only way I was going to get a car at that price was to get a used one. I told him that I was shocked that they were so unwilling to even let me LOOK at the car I wanted. He said fine we'll go look at one but that it was just going to be a "waste of time" to which I responded "well it's my time" and he came back with "well it's my time too". I have NEVER been met with such DISRESPECT when I'm there to purchase a new car! I told him that if he didn't want to help me I can go to another dealership and he told me that we could go look at the car but that it costs a lot of money and I just wasn't going to be able to afford it. I reminded him that he had not pulled my credit, asked my salary or ANYTHING other than my name and my preferred payment price. He responded with a "your credit doesn't mean anything." I'm sorry but I'm pretty sure my credit dictates the kind of payment I can make! After that I immediately left because I was tired of his disrespect. I went to another Honda dealership immediately afterwards and got the 2012 Civic I wanted at the price I wanted, at the interest rate I wanted with absolutely NO PROBLEM!!! I am seriously just shocked at how rude and unwilling he was to sell me a car. I will NEVER go to another Vandergriff dealership because of the extreme lack of respect I received while I was there. More
