Went to test drive a used car we saw online for a decent price. I was a bit concerned due to a few red flags early in the process. First, they started asking about expected payments and credit score right o price. I was a bit concerned due to a few red flags early in the process. First, they started asking about expected payments and credit score right off the bat, before we even saw the vehicle, much less drove it. We did not buy after the test drive as we were looking at a few other cars. The next day, we get messages basically asking us when we were going to buy it. Not asking about our needs, not asking about any questions we may have...just when are we buying. Worse, when I pushed them for a final price to ensure there was no added "dealer prep" or "dealer options" or any of the dreaded "bait and switch" tactics that are all too common, I was told "just come in to the dealership and THEN we will give you the final, all-in price." I gave up as I am not going to play that game or waste my time with that type of xx. So, why the 5 star review? Well, later that day, they did give us the final, all-in cost via text (didn't have to go to dealer to get it) and it was right in line with expectations. Just TTL and typical doc fee. I confirmed that IF that was the real final price, we will buy. They assured me it was. So, we go to buy (and started dealing with Alex) and... it was all good from that point on! Pleasant, kind, no pressure, no haggle, no tomfoolery, no malarkey. We had outside financing and gave them a chance to beat it. They couldn't beat it and just worked with our bank seamlessly. Easy peasy. Finance guy did his job and tried to upsell the extended warranty and politely pointed out how critical it was to have, but when we declined, he accepted that and continued to provide good, quick service. (In the past, I've had dealership Finance people become pouty, aggressive, and even hostile when I don't agree to their upsells. But not this time. This guy was professional and pleasant. So, I had some concerns early in the process, but ultimately, it was a good experience and a good deal. Due to past experiences with other dealerships, I will always stay guarded dealing with any dealership, but I must admit, this was, eventually, a good experience with Vandergriff and I'd deal with them again! More

I simply cannot say enough about our experience with Vandergriff Chevrolet and most especially their sales rep, Alicia Esquivel. I had searched for a truck for my spouse for well over a year, but each t Vandergriff Chevrolet and most especially their sales rep, Alicia Esquivel. I had searched for a truck for my spouse for well over a year, but each time I found something it was either sold or the dealer was not willing to budge in price. I was ready to give up when I saw a truck online at Vandergriff Chevrolet. Yes, that one sold too, but Alicia had taken my call about it and when I explained that I was very frustrated with this occurring Alicia offered to help me next time I saw something. I was not too thrilled to keep looking, but Alicia did not give up. She stayed positive, patient and helpful. Quite honestly, she gave me some hope so I continued to look on Vandergriff’s site through the next few days. Not long after I found three trucks for my spouse to view and I immediately informed Alicia. We set a time to meet and when I arrived I was surprised to find that Alicia had the three sets of keys-one for each of the trucks. As my spouse looked at these vehicles Alicia gave us details on each one. She shared great information about each specific vehicle. It was as if she had studied these vehicles prior to our arriving! My spouse chose the truck he wanted and because we enjoyed working with Alicia so much we decided not to continue looking and to talk price. Alicia remained positive, patient and extremely helpful. I must admit that we have purchased vehicles on several occasions and Alicia has been the best sales rep by far! She is down to earth and very easy to talk to. It is as if she has been selling vehicles all her life. 🙂 At the end of the day we were given a fair price and a few days after the sale Alicia followed up with us by email and by phone to ensure we were happy with our purchase. The service department also reached out by email and regular mail to let us know that they were there to help us with anything we needed. My spouse has since used their service department and it was an absolute pleasure to deal with them. We will definitely return! If you or someone you know is looking to purchase a vehicle TRY VANDERGRIFF CHEVROLET and ask for Alicia Esquivel-I promise you that she and the team will take very good care of you!!! More
Watch out for additional option fee of around $3k that they don’t advertise online on their used vehicles. Oh and they will try to tell you pricing has no affect by interest rates which is again wrong. Why else are used vehicle prices dropping week over week and there are articles upon articles about it. Jessica was great however the floor manager or whoever came out felt like he needed to mansplain me when I’ve lived and breathed cars and financing for 20 years. More
I was greeted on the parking lot and directed to sales. Alicia was fantastic at finding a vehicle that was the perfect for me! She kept the process flowing while keeping me informed along the way. Worst experience ever, offered waaaay below what my trade in value was worth and then was very rude. Stated I should just have my bank buy it...
