We went van shopping, saw all the inventory at Van Horn Chrysler in Plymouth and stopped in to take a look. We were greeted by Paul Miller who did an exceptional job finding our new "used" van. He was very Chrysler in Plymouth and stopped in to take a look. We were greeted by Paul Miller who did an exceptional job finding our new "used" van. He was very informative, polite and professional. Highly recommend him, then on to Evert Droppers who got us into the van with the right financing. He too was very professional and informative. We then had a follow-up with Tina Murphy before driving off with our van, she put a very rosy touch on top of a very delightful buying experience! Everyone there were great to work with. Absolutely no pressure of any kind! Will return when we need another vehicle for sure! Keep up the great work!! Kurt & Holly Saukville More
I worked with Bob from 1300 miles away and it was very positive. He did everything I asked and I saved a lot of money. I had to be in Wisconsin any way, so it worked out great for me. The only negative wa positive. He did everything I asked and I saved a lot of money. I had to be in Wisconsin any way, so it worked out great for me. The only negative was they got my car so fast, it had to sit in their storage and wait for me to come. It was hard to wait knowing my car was ready! All positive. More
I was very pleased with all at Van Horn Dodge from my first phone call with Brock Walsh, my sales associate, to the courtesy ride back to my home 35 miles away. Brock Walsh was a pleasure to deal with an first phone call with Brock Walsh, my sales associate, to the courtesy ride back to my home 35 miles away. Brock Walsh was a pleasure to deal with and kept every promise he made. Evert Droppers, xxI Business Manager was most efficient in clearing the paperwork and was fun to talk to. Kari assured me of great continued service. All were helpful. Here is an example - I thought to ask if the oil had been changed in the car, when and type of oil. I asked this of Adam Gaedke. Within a short time I had a text message with the information. From what I could see at Van Horn Dodge they collaborate nicely as a team to truly serve the customer. My wife will be in the market for a new car and I certainly recommend this dealer. Thanks. More

This is the 4th time we have dealt with Van Horn Dodge. The first 4 we owned mini vans and felt we received an excellent deal on the purchase and know the service was always top notch with minimal waiting The first 4 we owned mini vans and felt we received an excellent deal on the purchase and know the service was always top notch with minimal waiting to get in and to have the service performed. The service reviews were based on that prior service. In 2008 when the reviews on Dodge products took a turn for the worse, we bought a Ford crossover and were happy with that car. But here we are back at Van Horn Dodge, having just purchased a new 2011 Journey. The reviews and quality have improved considerably and we like the feel and ride of the Journey better than others we drove. Roy said he would work very hard for our business and he did. Van Horn didn't have exactly what we wanted on the lot so Roy found one in Indiana and they transported the vehicle to Plymouth for us. (Which also happened often in the past.) We live only about 6 mi from the dealership so appreciate the convenience of having the car brought to us. Of all the dealers we visited, we feel the best price was right here at Van Horn Dodge. Thanks, Roy, and all the support staff. More
This is the fifth vehicle I have purchased from Chuck Van Horn Dodge. I was able to upgrade from a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport TRX to a 2009 Laramie which was one year older but had lower mileage. I liked my Horn Dodge. I was able to upgrade from a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport TRX to a 2009 Laramie which was one year older but had lower mileage. I liked my other truck but am delighted with the styling and functional features of the new truck. I have also owned a 96 Intrepid, a 97 Laramie, and a 2000 Intrepid (which my daughter is still driving). My experiences over the years have been extremely positive. Everyone at the dealership has been courteous, helpful, knowledgable and friendly. My first contact with the dealership was with Chuck Van Horn himself, Richard Strong and Andy Buttram. Chuck and Richard still greet me in person if I am at the dealership or meet them in public. I think Andy my work at one of their sister dealerships. Chuck was instrumental in the purchase of my first three vehicles and I appreciated his interest in me even though he was the owner and not strictly in sales. I have worked with Mark Sloan for my last two purchases and also had a great experience with him. Over the years I have had the most contact with the service and parts departments at Van Horn since I have generally kept my vehicles for long periods of time. I cannot say enough about the quality of the work and treatment I have received during this time. I have especially been impressed by their ability to assess any problem I have had correctly and fix it the first time. Whether listening to my description or taking a test drive with my vehicle, they were able to accurately diagnose the problems or concerns I have had. I have also never felt that they were trying to add more work than was needed which I experienced at some other dealers. My vehicles have been dependable and high quality with relatively few problems but I have used Van Horn's parts and service for all regularly scheduled vehicle maintenance and have gotten to know the service writers, parts people and mechanics fairly well. When someone new has replaced a familiar person I have always found them to carry on from the good experience I have had with the past individual. I am not quite as comfortable with the purchasing of extended warranty coverage. This coverage has always seemed quite expensive and I have never had to use it. The number of programs, options and payments also seem a little confusing and there is little time to make a decision so I always feel a little pressured in the finance office. I am supposed to be able to either upgrade or cancel the coverage I just purchased within 60 days so that made me feel a little better about the latest transaction. It would help to discuss this and evaluate it prior to shopping for the vehicle so the customer would be more prepared to include the cost of the plan in his/her budget and choose the level which makes the best fit or decline it if that is the choice. It would also be helpful if there was some independent rating service to gauge the quality or value of the warranty coverage similar to the carfax type service for checking a vehicle. That is something I will try to plan for differently in the future. More
