I have bought several cars from this dealership over the I have bought several cars from this dealership over the years,and as the years go bye this dealership improves in all expectations everytime i visit I have bought several cars from this dealership over the years,and as the years go bye this dealership improves in all expectations everytime i visit them. They have a Great selection,They listen to my needs and don't try to push me in to anything else than what i came in to there doors to try and acomplish. When i visit them i have somthing in mind, price, selection, etc.I ask if they can achive it? They see what they can do. If not they let me know, we then discuss possible other options. A simple yes or no on my part or theres and the discussion ends with no hard feelings on either side. I have had a couple different sales people over the years that are no longer employed, but Roy, whom i have delt with the last couple of times has been great along with his manager Adam. Both are down to earth nice guys.I will continue to give them my first opertunity for my car purchases. I usually purchase used cars and have not really had to many problems with them, where as that i had to see how they would handle the situation.So most of this review is related to the original purchase of a car. If i was not so impressed with these couple of guys and Everts smooth financing, I would not have even bothered to write this review. Thanks Guys. P.S. Chuck, Nice X-mas bonus for these guys. :) More
I called ahead and requested 3 cars to be pulled for test drives. I called in advance because I knew the lot was super packed with vehicles and its a nightmare getting them out. Upon my arrival at my prede drives. I called in advance because I knew the lot was super packed with vehicles and its a nightmare getting them out. Upon my arrival at my predetermined appointment I found none of the cars where pulled. None of the car keys or information was gathered and I find out while test driving the first 2 the 3rd was already sold. After deciding on 1 of the vehicles I previously selected to test drive we filled out the paperwork with the understanding 2 problems with the car were already diagnosed and parts ordered. A week later we find out the problems were NOT diagnosed and upon our reminders of the problem an appointment was set up to fix the problems. While the car was being repaired I decided to protect myself and inquire the status of the repair and found the work order only had 1 of the 2 repairs listed. After another couple phone calls the work was done to my satisfaction and we where now satisfied with the purchase. Dealer did offer a gas card and free oil change for the communication errors at the dealership. Overall I would recommend with caution. All issues were resolved with friendly and apologetic staff. But be certain of the purchase, get all details in writing and follow through staying positive while working through the purchase. More
We came in to buy a specific van, we called the internet person and she said that it was available, but when we got there it was not. We were not happy, Josh D. helped us find another vehichle to our likin person and she said that it was available, but when we got there it was not. Tina from Internet Sales made the first contact and encouraged me to come in on Black Friday as I was considering a test drive on one of their vehicles. Josh was busy when I came in, but made time for me and made a deal for my trade on one of their vehicles. I felt they were fair and after some negotiating we came to an acceptable trade deal. Vehicle needed some service and follow up items and Carrie from the Service Department followed up on those very well with me. She was pleasant, courteous, and helpful. I am glad to have had a good experience with them and to have this vehicle. Thanks for a good experience. More

My experience at Van Horn Dodge was terrific. Being from the Fox Valley area, Van Horn Dodge was able to work with me through internet and phone services before I made the decision to make the hour and a ha the Fox Valley area, Van Horn Dodge was able to work with me through internet and phone services before I made the decision to make the hour and a half long trip to test drive a vehicle. They were able to offer me a 4x4 used vehicle with low miles at a price I couldn't find anywhere in the Fox Valley. Christian was extremely helpful and was flexible with me when it came to test driving a vehicle. He knew my expectations of the vehicle I needed to have and met all of them when he found my new Jeep Liberty. I have had my vehcile for a full month now and have absolutely no complaints. I would definitely use Van Horn Dodge in the future for another vehicle. More

I stopped in to VanHorn to look at used pickup trucks. I did manage to find what I was looking for and fell in love with the truck. Brock catered to every last little thing that I was in need of. I found a some water in the truck under the passenger seat (someone left the rear window open), and Brock had it taken care of immediately. Brock and Bryan helped me when I was in need. I had a lower credit score, and Bryan made it work. Then, Bryan also promised to help me refinance when the time was right. I did ask for two new tires on the truck, as two of them were slighlty cupped, unfortunately, they were not able to work with me on that whatsoever. The did fill the gas tank for me before I left however. Their price for the truck was over the Bluebook value, and they gave me less than Bluebook (trade-in value in fair condition). All and all, I had a good experience from Brock and Bryan. I expected a little more from the management when it came to the tires, but was very impressed with Brock and Bryan, they went to bat for me and were extremely patient. More

From my first phone call to Roy Edwards right thru test driving & buyiny my vehicle he was friendly, helpful, honest & sincere on how he treated me as a customer. I did not receive that same treatment at the other dealerships I visited. I'm happy with the price on the vehicle I purchased along with the price I received on my trade-in without any hassles.
