Wife and I stopped in planning just to test drive a few vehicles without buying anything that day. Mark was very friendly and helpful with selecting the vehicles we wanted to test. When we were finished and sat down to talk numbers is when our experience started to take a downturn. First they tried to offer $2000 less than blue book on my trade. Thankfully Mark went to talk to someone and came back with a more accurate offer. Next we talked about payment amounts and couldn't get to were I wanted to be which was fine. Mark then left and came back to say we could get into a new Journey SXT AWD if approved for 3.9%. After a few minutes he came back and said we were good to go. My wife and I tried to tell him we wanted to go home and sleep on it and come back the next day to close the deal. Mark told us to hang on and left to go talk to someone again. We couldn't just leave because they still had our car keys. When he came back he asked us what we were not sure about. We told him again we just wanted to sleep on it and would be back the next day. He suggested we drive the Journey again which we did. We came back and told him we would take it. Mark says good and starts to get the paperwork going immediately. Next thing I know plates are transfered and we're in the finance office. We didn't even have the title or paystubs. Mark never discussed or gave us a price on the Journey. I had to wait to see it until the finance person had the purchase contract printed out. The price was fair and it had to be to get the payment amount we were looking for. Overall it was an OK experience. They were very pushy and wanted everything done that night. This is the 3rd car I have bought at Van Horn(1st new one). I would still recommend Van Horn due to my previous experiences. They get you in and out very quickly which is nice and the salepersons have always been very friendly. Just beware they pull all the classic moves (Discuss monthly payment more than price, keys disappear once they know financing is approved and the old "A favor was called in"). More

It was a rainy day. We were out searching the lot, on foot, for about 20 minutes, and were not approached. We walked into the dealership and we were finally approached and led to Mark. We were not planning to buy a car that day, though we were looking to. Instead we walked out of the dealership with a nearly new 2011 Dodge Durango Crew. We are very pleased with the SUV. I am definitely impressed with the vehicle. Everything involved in purchasing the car went smoothly. One minute we are talking about purchasing the car, the next we had the car purchased. I only gave the pricing a good, even though they did show me various price sheets comparing the Durango with other's in the area. The thing about price comparison is that you have no idea whether you are comparing it with a similar model as far as what it is loaded with. Give me a price comparison that way, with miles, and I would be far more impressed with the figures. Also, we discovered later that our car didn't have as many of the bells and whistles it could have, which leads me to question the price on this particular model. The only other downfall is that one set of keys does not work correctly. The car simply does not recognize them. This is after the dealership tried to repair them twice and told me that they did the second time. They only "appear" to work when the set of keys that does work is nearby. Overall, I was very impressed with the service of the dealership. More
I was looking for a new dodge nitro, van horn had one.
