Carlos reached out to me after seeing an ad I posted on Craigslist for my car that i had posted for sale! I came in and he helped me out so much to get my car traded in and paid off completely, and then he Craigslist for my car that i had posted for sale! I came in and he helped me out so much to get my car traded in and paid off completely, and then helped me find a car in my budget. He was not pushy at ALL, and didn’t try to talk me into anything more than he knew I could afford! He took his time with me and was extremely patient. He even suggested I test drive more than one vehicle to decide which one I liked the most! I highly recommend him to anyone who is wanting to make sure they don’t feel pressured into anything, want to feel comfortable when buying their car, and TRUST that they are getting the best deal! I called to ask about headlight for explorer and was told be 75 labor and 25 for bulb. I questioned the high labor and was told whole assembly had to come out and it'd be $75 for half hour and come on in. When I arrived I asked them to look at front brakes they had charged me $300 dollars to do in Sept. After waiting two hours I was informed headlight not in stock and it would be $186 dollars. They also said I needed rotors turned and new pads which I had done 16000 miles ago. They refused to fix brakes said was out of warranty mileage. I said no thanks and was on my way. Next day took to local garage and said front pads fine but rotors had obviously not been turned last time. Also needed back rotors turned and new pads. after job was done I asked did he do headlight ,he had forgotten. He said give me five minutes. Not only did he have bulb in stock $14.95 he installed by popping hood and putting bulb in in five minutes. No assembly removal required? total bill $350 for four rotors turned, rear pads and headlight. University ford tried to rip me off $186 for headlight bulb!!! xxx?I will never do business with them again after two expeditions and two explorers. You'd think they would take better care of someone who had spent over 150k with them over the years? More

He was extremely knowledgeable about the products and of the inventory of the de time to hear what I wanted and was able to get me into my dream car! He was extremely knowledgeable about the products and of the inventory of the dealership not to mention he was very professional. When it came time to the Finance part Ezekiel made sure to explain all of the warranties and was able to recommend the best ones for me. Overall I highly recommend this dealership and working with both Adam and Ezekiel because combined they will absolutely make sure that you will get the perfect car for you and feel comfortable during the process! First time I dropped by, CHRIS was easy going but clearly shown some ignorance on mustang models: he told me that there was no difference between the V8 engine of 15-17 and 18+ models. I was also told that there was no GT automatic available right now, but they can arrange a used one from other dealerships for me for test drive. We set up an appointment after few days. Second time I was there exactly on time with my appointment, CHRIS WAS UNAVAILABLE, NEITHER WAS THE CAR I ASKED FOR. They had no idea there was an appointment and no one knew I was coming. The sales person who talked with us was NOT WEARING A MASK or a uniform, and knew absolutely NOTHING about Mustangs or car selling: After some negotiation with him he said they do had a new car which IS GT premium PP1 with top options model, but "since it's a performance vehicle we would need to make a deal for this car before I can test-drive it". That basically means you have to agree to buy the car before you can test drive. I said alright I won't drive it today but show me the car. Then he got the key and lead me to a car which was CLEARLY NOT THE ONE HE DESCRIBED, it was not even a performance pack vehicle. I asked for the vehicle next to it cuz that's a new GT premium with the options I wanted, he got the key for me, but the car's battery seems to be running out, so I had to help him jumping start the vehicle (and failed for no reason) for 15 minutes. We left the dealership after wasting an hour of our time. I would like to conclude that these are totally nightmare experiences. Imagine you got an appointment with them, when you show up the person you know and the car you asked for are absent. The new guy who talked to you knows absolutely nothing about the car, and ask you to make a deal right now so you can test drive the car. I felt like I was not treated with basic respect, they just ignore you if you don't agree to buy a car today. Think I am going to check out Camaro, or just drive extra miles to Ford Raleigh. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM. More
I had filled out a loan application online before going to the dealership. Once I was there the sales manager brought a truck up for me to test drive. It was a certified preowned truck. The manager sold me to the dealership. Once I was there the sales manager brought a truck up for me to test drive. It was a certified preowned truck. The manager sold me the truck saying it was all I would qualify for do to it being 15 years since I had bought a vehicle. The next morning I went to take the truck to the store and when I started it up it blew out a thick cloud of grey smoke that smelled like oil. I called the sales manager that sold me the truck and was told to bring it in to be checked out that Monday. I had only driven the truck 27 miles to home. After the truck was checked out he called to tell me that the truck had 2 cracked heads. It only had 25,000 miles on it and only smoked when it was first started up. I asked how was it that no one noticed the thick cloud of smoke that engulfed the truck when it was first started and if that was why he brought the truck around from the back of the building. He also sold us an extended warranty and took a $4000.00 Commission to sell me a truck that was ford certified. He couldn't explain how everyone who checked out or drove the truck missed the cloud of smoke that was so thick no matter which mirror you might look in,you couldn't see anything behind you. When I asked the manager to do something to make it right,he stated that since he set up the appointment for the truck to be checked out again and that he was giving me a truck to drive while repairing the truck that he was making it right. I stated that if I had taken the truck to another dealership that they would have done the same thing he was doing. I made my first payment on the loan 45 days after buying the truck, but had only gotten the truck 2 days before payment was due. If I hadn't been sold the extended warranty when I got the truck I would have been up the creek without a paddle. What really made it worse was when the man who sold me the ford certified preowned truck acted as if he was going above and beyond what he had to. I would have thought that he would have at least offered to return some of his commission on the sale of the truck or some of what he made on the extended warranty. When I bought the truck I told the salesman that I was only getting the truck to get a payment history so that I could get a new truck like I wanted instead of getting a plain truck. I told him that I was still getting a new truck after I established a payment history and he gave me a thumbs up as if I would buy another vehicle from him. I'm sure that's why he sold me the extended warranty without me asking for it when I bought the truck, cause he knew that big cloud of smoke meant something was wrong with it. Update!!! Statements within this review is my opinion!!!! Around Sept 10th of 2019 I called and talked with Mr.Wahid Nazari where he told me he wanted to make things right with me even if it meant he had to take a loss on a truck. I asked him if the sales manager had told him my credit wasnt the best due to health insurance had stopped paying for my wife's brain tumor medicine and at that time I had to choose between being late on my house payment or my wife doing without the medicine that was keeping her alive, keeping her from having a stroke, heart-attack, permanent blindness or death. But I now had changed health insurance that covered her $1500 a month medicine. My credit suffered to keep my wife alive but he said he could work with it. He told me to pick a truck and I picked one that I was looking at before I got the truck that they charged me $15000.00 more than blue book value at time of purchase and it wasn't top of the line. We talked on phone and through email about getting me in the truck I originally wanted or one close to it for about a week. He then called to let me know he wasn't able to put me in the better truck even with the factory rebates of $16,000 due to owing so much negative equity on the truck. I had asked the sales manager if he could drop price of truck before I bought it and he replied he couldn't drop the price anymore, he was at lowest price he could do,but forgot to mention that he was charging me double what the truck was valued at. When Mr.Nazari was working with me for a better truck,he ran my credit 20+ times dropping my score a 100 point,he said that he was going to try some other financial means. I asked how much he was going to let me have the truck for because when I called dealership before talking with Mr.Nazari, a saleswoman gave me the sale price and I wanted to see how much additional money he was dropping it, plus I was trying to get a personal loan and needed the info. I told Mr.Nazari this and from them jacking up the price adding a lot of negative equity most banks wouldnt give loan for the amount needed. The sales manager told me that was the only vehicle in my price range knowing I really needed a vehicle do to mine having almost 300,000 miles and was broken down. That I needed a reliable vehicle to get her back and forth to doctor appointments. After I purchased the truck I found out that they had another used truck at their chapel hill dealership that was 4x4 and more of what I wanted, plus was only around $1000 more and pretty close to same mileage. It also didn't have 2 cracked heads like the one I was sold. After screwing up my credit but not telling me. I called and emailed him asking for the info on the truck. After about a week of back and forth Mr.Nazari stopped taking my calls or answering my emails. Plus he never gave me info on new truck. I found out about my credit when I tried for the personal loan. I now know who the salesman who screwed me on the truck knew I really needed a dependable vehicle. I would NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER UNLESS YOU WANT TO TAKE A CHANCE OF BEING SCREWED OVER IN MY OPINION. I'm now in a loan that is an interest only loan so they could make a sale. I owe $2000.00 more on the loan then I did when I left dealership. I've paid $10,710.00 so far on loan and since Mr.Nazari ran my credit many times thru other financial places dropping it 100 points no financial institute will give me a loan for the truck so that at least some of my payment would go to principle. I would have a cheaper payment if I leased a truck. I'm now stuck in a interest only loan that I can't get out of, Mr.Nazari lied to me,screwed up my credit and I have no options with this, but the dealership made a sale adding so much negative equity that no one will give a loan for the truck. Now a hard working man who works 5-6 days a week 10-12 hours a day is paying almost $800 a month on a loan that will never be paid for and loan payoff is steadily going up. Its a bad deal when even the general manager can't get you into another vehicle even with factory rebate being between $15,000-$20,000 Thanks university ford of durham, you really screwed me over, but hey you made a sale. I cancelled the extended main Customer service is terrible. Staff do not return emails or telephone calls, or refund money that is due the customer. I cancelled the extended maintenance plan that I purchased on my truck July 1, through Wahid Nazari, the general manager. The warranty company fully refunded it, and sent it to University Ford in early August. Now it's a couple days short of October 2019, and I have not yet received it. I have called Stephone White, the Senior Finance Manager who handled my transaction, and Mr. Nazari. I also emailed Mr. Nazari prior to calling him to let him know I had not yet received the check. It's been two weeks, and I have not heard from either Mr. Nazari or Mr. White. Be wary of doing business with this dealership. More

We were over 250 miles from home and didn't know what to do. When my husband enter the service department, in desperation, the customer service person told him that it would be 2 days before the vehicle could be checked. Seeing the dilemma that we were in. Ms. Etta Raines, another customer care agent, very graciously stepped in to help. She was very kind, considerate and helpful. Verifying that our vehicle was still under warranty, had the vehicle checked out, told us where we could get some lunch and sent us on our way with the assurance that our vehicle was okay. Sometimes we do, indeed, entertain angels unaware. Ms. Raines is, truly an asset to University Ford in Durham, N.C. More

When I arrived he started asking why I was interested in this particular truck & offering to show me others. He then said I would not be able to test drive the truck I had come to see because of a spider-web crack in the sunroof. I stood in the bed to view the sunroof and noticed no cracks. Mr Foster went on to say I was not even able to view the interior of this vehicle because he could not obtain the keys from the glass repair guys. More
