Contacted several dealers to purchase a 25 Pathfinder. Universal was only one who replied back and didn't play the "come to the dealership" game. I got my out the door price and when I showed up, with check for full amount, I was in and out of the dealership on a Saturday, in less than one hour. I don't want to spend a lot of time "negotiating" as we all know numbers are nothing more than a shell game. I got a price I felt I could live with, and we purchased the vehicle. They will be our dealer moving forward as long as the longevity of the Nissan product holds up over the next 3 years (100,000 miles). I'm not sure who Eliab Sterling, is but it wouldn't let me leave this review without rating him. I gave him a 5 because the dealership as a whole, in my opinion was "banging on all 8 cylinders". It would be more efficient if the car makes and models were grouped together - the backlot was overcrowded and cars were everywhere making it difficult to locate the vehicle I ended up purchasing. I feel completely scammed by Universal Nissan. I purchased a Nissan Altima as a certified used car, and I also bought 2 warranties to protect myself. However, now I’m being denied service because I purchased a Nissan Altima as a certified used car, and I also bought 2 warranties to protect myself. However, now I’m being denied service because they claim the wear and tear on the vehicle is “typical for the year and mileage and warranty is not going to cover the vehicle that they didn't even take the time to inspect. I brought up suspension issues multiple times, but instead of helping, they just brush me off and say this is normal for a used car. It’s incredibly frustrating to pay for a warranty and still have zero support when problems arise. This has left me overwhelmed and full of buyer’s regret. If you’re thinking about buying from Universal Nissan, beware — they don’t stand behind their cars or warranties. I’m beyond disappointed. Now I am stuck and upside down with a car I am unhappy with and will have to continue to be unhappy with until my loan is over. More
