Terrible Service Department I had a reasonably good sales experience with this dealer so I was hopeful their service department would be similar but sadly that turned out to be u I had a reasonably good sales experience with this dealer so I was hopeful their service department would be similar but sadly that turned out to be untrue. I gave them 3 chances and they got 3 strikes! Most recent strike was when I brought the vehicle in for an annual state inspection which they offer for free if you purchased the vehicle from them. Of course, for any dealer this is just an opportunity for a fishing trip to try to see what repairs they can sell you, but in this case they actually used the state inspection to try to force me to pay for an unnecessary repair. They claimed one of the brake rotors was rusty and failed inspection and I would have to replace them to pass inspection. The rust was along the outer edge of the rotor surface. The vehicle's brakes worked fine. The pads were still adequate. The rotors were not warped. They apparently did not measure the rotor thickness which is a more objective indicator of whether the rotor is still serviceable. The VT state inspection manual's failure criteria says the rust must be on the contact surface. Obviously, every rotor on the road will have rust on it outside of the area where the pads contact the rotor. They will get rusty the minute you drive them off the lot. In the area where the pads contact the rotor, any corrosion is polished clean every time you brake. If there was corrosion under where the pads should mate with the rotor, then that would indicate the pads aren't contacting the rotor and there is a different problem with the brakes. There was nothing wrong with these rotors and they were simply trying to force me to pay for a repair I didn't need. Also, the vehicle was still under warranty and they didn't offer to replace them under that. In my interactions with the dealer I spoke with the General Manager and he was contentious, condescending, and generally obnoxious. I had two other mechanics check the rotors and they agreed with me that they were fine. I called Subaru of America and they also seemed very suspicious of what the dealer was saying, especially since the car only had about 30K miles on it. In the end, Subaru Corporation agreed to pay for the rotor repair regardless of whether it was needed so I am still a big fan of Subaru, but I would never do any business with this dealer again. More

Expanded my search on CarGuru's website to 150 miles and a beautiful 2015 R/T at Twin City Subaru popped up that was within my budget. Took the hour and a half ride up to the dealership from my home in NH. Was greeted by Jeff Moser and in a matter of a day or so we had worked out a deal. Jeff was a pleasure to work with. Very attentive to any questions I have had and even after the sale he got right back to me on post sale followup questions. Would highly recommend Jeff! More
Good Sales experience with Eric Lane When I entered the dealership I wasn't sure I'd be able to even afford a new car. Not only did Eric work tirelessly to find me a deal I could afford, he was patient and good-humored all the while, applying no pressure or awkwardness. It was more like buying a car with a friend. In fact, it was Eric who turned me on to the idea of leasing, another thing I wasn't sure applied to me. Bottom line is I walked away with a car I love, at a price I can afford, having donated to the Vermont Food Bank, and with the security that Subaru--and Eric--will be there for me when I need them, whether that's an oil change or help in programming my Bluetooth!. Win-win! More

Sweeney seemed to get on my wavelength right away providing information I valued (such as the absence of timing belts on Forester) He didn't try to sell extras or options, We took almost 2 months making up our minds during which Joe kept in touch now and then without the manic phone calls from other dealers we shopped. i definitely recommend this guy. More
