He has the ability to explain information and break it down so that you are fully aware of what needs to be done and what doesn't need to be done. Finishing the service, I now know the condition of my tires and brakes. As a woman who has very limited car knowledge, I appreciate the explanations and the trust that he installs with his knowledge. His easy going demeanor and his humor puts me at ease so that I can ask a question and not feel dumb for asking it. I don't think I can find the words to express what a great team that John Patterson has built at OC Mazda. I wandered in 7 years ago and Javier took great care of me and got me into a CX3. I am proud to say that my husband and daughter followed suit. We are a 3 Mazda family. My in-laws just purchased their first Mazda. All because of the great experiences that we have had at Patterson Mazda. I am pretty sure that I could find a cheaper oil change but you get what you pay for. Thank you to Tony Mattingly, my service representative! Tony has taken care of my Mazda 3 service needs for over 6 years now. He is honest, trustworthy, knowledgeable and efficient. Most recently I needed Tony has taken care of my Mazda 3 service needs for over 6 years now. He is honest, trustworthy, knowledgeable and efficient. Most recently I needed my air conditioning serviced. Thinking that I would take it to a local dealership (I recently moved out of the area) I called him when the quote I received was extraordinarily high. Right away he knew that this quote was inaccurate and encouraged me to make the drive to Tustin Mazda for service and while they worked on my car he would provide me a loaner car free of charge. After taking a look at my car the mechanic (Wayne) quickly agreed with Tony. Instead of the $3600+ that the other dealership was going to charge for things I did not need, my cost at Tustin Mazda was $1100, saving me $2500 in unnecessary work. My air conditioning works perfect and the other couple of items that needed fixed to where attended to as well. I can't tell you how nice it is to have someone like Tony looking out for me. Thanks to both Tony and Wayne for the excellent, professional work! More

I came in for my 10,000 mile service and my advisor Tony Mattingly was great. The customer lounge was comfortable and JP’s pancakes seemed to be a hit.
