I requested an internet quote from Tustin Mazda, and got an immediate response with an invitation to visit the dealership. We quickly arranged a time for me to test drive a car and when I got there Jimmy was ready for me, with the vehicle, a Mazda5 6-speed in the color that I requested, waiting for me to test drive. Jimmy walked me through the entire car before we got in: features, benefits, how to make adjustments - he was very well informed about the car. Test drive was great, there was no rush and he offered for me to keep driving as long as I needed to decide. This was my second test of this car, and I was sold once I got my hands on the manual version. We quickly worked out a price (no long waiting around, no big sales pressure), got my financing in order, trade price worked out (I was offered $500 more than the two other dealerships I took the car to) and I was headed into financing! The financing woman was great (Laura?), I signed my papers, and by that time my car was clean and ready to pack up and drive home! I have a local Mazda dealership, but I was willing to drive an hour because the service at Tustin from the first email was superior to any other dealership I had communicated with. I feel like I've joined the Tustin Mazda family - I can't wait to drive down one Saturday afternoon with my family for the weekly BBQ and to have my car washed! More

Don was very helpful, and was not "pushy" at all. He listened to our needs and made it very comfortable for us to trust him. Many times, I have gone to a dealership, where they judge you by your all. Many times, I have gone to a dealership, where they judge you by your looks, whether I had money and if I was going to qualify for a loan because of my age. But Don did not judge me nor did he ever mention about payment or loan until we looked at cars together to find the right fit and test drove it. If he ever came upon a question that he did not know, he went out of his way to find out for us. He let us know what he was doing everytime so we were on the same page. He was energetic and I could see he was enjoying having fun finding the right car for me too. I kept telling me that it was ok to spend the time and look at other cars, other models because this was going to be my car, so he would just sit back and wait while I looked until I had a question, instead of getting all close and trying the "sale" the greatness of the cars. The sales staff at Tustin Mazda were helpful yet not too pushy. They all seem to very familiar with the Mazdas they sell. It dealership itself appears to be a friendly place especially on Saturdays! Vinnie helped us when we came back to buy our Mazda 6 Touring Plus and walked us through the entire Smart Start Guide, took us on a tour of the facility so we would know where to go for any service work and helped me link up my cell phone to the Bluetooth system. We were looking for a fully loaded 2010 CX9 with low miles. We are from San Diego, but the only one available at a dealership in SD was at Westcott Mazda and they were unwilling to compromise on price. miles. The salesman ended up being rude and said we were too far apart to make ends meet so we ended the discussion. Fair enough. So after searching around the internet, Tustin Mazda had the same car available for $2k less than in SD. My initial phone discussion was with Garrett who was super friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and accommodating. I asked if he could install a DVD player and certify the car which he was happy to do. The next day, I drove to Tustin Mazda, checked out the car, and put down a deposit since my wife was not available to come to the dealership that day (Wed). The car was supposed to be ready Saturday evening. On Thursday, another CX9 that was the same year, options, and miles became available at their dealership that was about $1300 less expensive than the one I had reserved. While initially concerned that I was stuck in the deal I had already made, Big Mike immediately agreed to either sell me the less expensive car or price match on the one I had already selected. Because the car I had already chosen had been prepped, Mike agreed to price match. I think the integrity and ethical treatment I received with price matching on a deal that was partway done was outstanding! So many dealerships have shady business practices that it was a pleasure to deal with friendly, knowledgeable, AND ethical people who will treat you right. I would highly recommend anyone doing business with Tustin Mazda and will recommend them to my friends. They saved me $3,000 compared to the lousy dealership in San Diego! And to boot, the car ended up being ready a day early so we picked it up Friday evening. Could not have asked for a better experience! More

Vinnie is awesome. Hands down, the best person I've ever worked with in the cars business (I'm on my fourth car). Helpful, professional, and friendly. Ozzy was fantastic. He was friendly, matter-of-fact and accommodating. I ended up with a Mazda 2 Touring and I'm extremely pleased with the price and performance. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I didn't feel like I was being "sold" on the car, they just presented the facts and let me decide on what worked for me.
