This dealership sold me a salvaged vehicle without full disclosure prior to the sale. They also disconnected the service engine sensors to give the impression that the vehicle was in good condition only to disclosure prior to the sale. They also disconnected the service engine sensors to give the impression that the vehicle was in good condition only to find out a month later that the car was in fact an inoperable lemmon. They not only lied to me but put my life and my family in danger by doing this. My only suggestion to those that have been wrong by this company is to file a small claims lawsuit against them. It is only $31 dollars to file and $75 dollars to have them served. It is well worth it as this company should answer to everyone that it has wronged. The time frame however to file your suit is 2 years from the date of purchase. Please know that you do not have to accept this type of treatment. More
purchased a 2001 F-250 from them. they were very pushy, wouldn't let me test drive for very long and did not allow me to take it to have it looked over by a mechanic. already had to put 2300 into a trans wouldn't let me test drive for very long and did not allow me to take it to have it looked over by a mechanic. already had to put 2300 into a transmission. I was shopping to buy a car for my son for college that will just get him from point A to point B without stranding him or being a sinkhole for repairs. Being his first car, we were not looking for this t will just get him from point A to point B without stranding him or being a sinkhole for repairs. Being his first car, we were not looking for this to be agreat car, but just something to make it a few years till he graduates. We looked at several other cars that day and were aware that for the 3000-3500 we had budgeted, the pickings were slim. So we were not expecting to find a perfect car. When we arrived we were helped rather quickly as no one else was shopping in the 105 plus degree heat. We looked at several cars and almost every one had some significant body issuesm like cracked windshields or body work that was half completed. One car the key would not even work in the drivers side door. We finally settled on a Toyota Camry that appeared to be in good shape. When I asked to take a test drive, the salesman asked if I planned to buy the car. I told him we were definitely buying a car within the next two weeks, because that is when he goes to school, but that I would not be buying today until I had a mechanic look at the car. At that point he balked at even letting me test drive the car. I had driven all the way from Frisco to Fort Worth with 4 stops beofore that all over DFW and I had just been rear ended by a car around the corner in my car. I could not believe he was refusing a test drive. He explained that he was the only one there. The truth of the matter was that he did not want to have to move the cars out of the way to get to the Camry that was blocked in by three different cars. After much discussion he allowed me to take the car off the lot for a drive. While driving it, I noticed a burning smell of oil. When we got back to the lot my son noticed smoking out of the hood. It would appear that they simply take these cars as is from the buyer and don't even give them a once over to correct defects that may even by easy to fix, but will deter a buyer. I considered getting a car fax check for them, but after reading these reviews, I am chiding myslef for not doing my homework on the dealer before driving out there. I will not be going back as I am not going to support this type of customer service. It is amazing they have been in business for 35 years treating people this way. In this economy if you have people wanting to buy cars, you need to treat them well so you can EARN there business. the prices were reasonable, but I simply don't trust them. More

Not only was the car they sold me in such bad shape mechanically that it would take a miracle to fix it all, the salesmen were rude and dishonest about the condition, the store policy of a 15 min test mechanically that it would take a miracle to fix it all, the salesmen were rude and dishonest about the condition, the store policy of a 15 min test drive excluded the possiblity of having a mechanic check it as they report it stolen at that point. There was no listed buyers guide and it's 30 days later and I still don't have plates or a title yet. The first car I bought had the transmission blow within three blocks of the lot, they would not back out of the deal and forced me to choose another car or leave with that one. Steer Clear!!! More
everyone should realize these mechanics they are visiting could be the ones ripping them off they know you own the car and may be telling you it needs more than it does the dealer wil give you every chance t could be the ones ripping them off they know you own the car and may be telling you it needs more than it does the dealer wil give you every chance to look the vehicles over well and have a mechanic look at them if you so choose so if you did buy something in worse shape than you thought it was shame on you a car salesman is just that a sales man not a repair man! most salesman cant even change their own oil let alone diagnose what may break on a car down the road. but i will make it simple for you its a used car someone already bought it and drove it until it was breaking down on them so they traded it in and got a new one that would be more reliable so now you buy it from the used car lot and it breaks on you well thats why they traded it in hello isnt it real simple! Just remember salesman sell repairman repair More

The car i got would not run after a few days but after taking it back and checking back w run or have a VIN number on the dash as required by law. The car i got would not run after a few days but after taking it back and checking back with them, they said "sorry we wont even start working on the car till you make more payments". They did not supply a rental car or replacement, as a result my grandmother whom i live with cannot make dr. appointments etc. they would not even give me back my old clunker that i traded in along with the cash i gave them. we were taken advantage of and like many poverty level families in america i have no resources to fight back. I just hope someone else as poor as us can refuse to do business with TRIPLE R AUTO SALES - ON HEMPHIL IN FORT WORTH and say NO THANK YOU because of what you did to the MCCUNE family!!! I will add a few more comments on this lot since I've visited there a dozen times since my last review. It seems they are trying to buy some better vehicles, but I would not recommend buying anything wi visited there a dozen times since my last review. It seems they are trying to buy some better vehicles, but I would not recommend buying anything without a complete inspection BEFORE purchase. The last two cars I have test driven there (1994 Chrysler Concorde, 1996 Chevrolet Lumina) both needed serious work which were downplayed by the salesperson as a "minor issues". I'm sorry, a set of head gaskets for a Chevy V6 may cost $80, but it's a PITA to do the work right. I've done head gaskets myself on my Intrepid, and it took me 3 weeks and $450 in parts and tools. Have a mechanic do it and you can easily double or triple that $450 figure. And don't get me started on the cost of rebuilding a Chrysler FWD overdrive automatic. I've been there and done that, too, and to the tune of $2869 back in 1997 on a $6500 car. Find a mechanic you trust (or go take classes at TCC) and take him with you. Pay him well for his time. Or pick a couple cars and take them to him. Don't waste his time with a dozen cars, but don't think you're bothering him with just a few. He knows if he's honest with you, that you'll come to him when it DOES need service or just simple maintenance. A good mechanic is worth his weight in oil. Or something like that. More
I think everyone else that has rated this dealer has had their expectations WAY too high. I bought a 93 Infiniti J30 with 160K for $1900 plus TT&L. It ran rough when I bought it but it's a two thousand doll their expectations WAY too high. I bought a 93 Infiniti J30 with 160K for $1900 plus TT&L. It ran rough when I bought it but it's a two thousand dollar car. It's what I expected. The paint is weak in a few places and the bumpers could use a respray but overall an ok car. I've spent maybe 500 dollars more on it to get it running well and I'm very happy. I don't understad why someone looking to buy an 800 dollar car expects it to be perfect. Much less a 500 dollar car. There is a reason its only 500 or 800 dollars. It will need some work to be right. The rough book value for my car is 2750 so I still have less invested in it than rough book. I found te employees courtious, friendly and easy to deal with. My license plates were ready when they said they would be and I still feel that it's a decent place to buy from and deal with. You can't expect a cheap car to be perfect. I would buy from them again if I needed to. More
