My experience at Tri-State Nissan wasn’t bad but wasn’t great either. Unfortunately I wouldn’t return to this location due to my experience. -they did a great job on fixing the tie-rod for my Nissan Sent great either. Unfortunately I wouldn’t return to this location due to my experience. -they did a great job on fixing the tie-rod for my Nissan Sentra 2020 and completed my state inspection. -This is where things start to fall apart. I left my car there during new years weekend so they could complete an oil change and tire rotation. They called the next day to inform me that a mechanic servicing my car drove it around the parking lot and the front side of my car got messed up due to a missing part they forgot to put back in. I thank whoever called me and apologized for what happened. They said they’d send my car to get that situation fixed, I wouldn’t have to worry about the cost for repairs. They offered a courtesy car and said to give them a week. A week goes by, snow storm hits, fast forward I didn’t receive my car until two weeks after the incident. I picked up my car, and as I was sitting in the service parking lot no one approached me to let me know a light was out on my vehicle. I didn’t notice until I left the service parking lot. Another inconvenience as the side which the light was out was the same side the incident at tri-state Nissan happened. When I got home I immediately called the main service phone 3 times. No answer, so I called the Nissan service number and finally someone answered. Here’s where my patience’s runs out. I explained to them what I noticed about my light and asked if that had anything to do with the incident. The service representative stated that the light might have burnt out and it isn’t possible. Unfortunately I would’ve had to pay for that repair if I brought it back to TRI-State Nissan. -There was a positive. The service lady who answers the phones has amazing costumer service. She was the only one that made me feel welcomed at the shop. -Something to consider is calling the customer when a repair is going to take longer than anticipated. Not a bad experience but not a good one. More
